March or April?

I have been looking at the weather, the crowd estimates, grad nights, spring breaks, etc. trying to determine the best time for 2 awdults to go to WDW for the first time.

I am heat sensitive and burn easily, but want to go when it is warm enough to go to a water park, enjoy the wet rides, and go in the pool. What is the best time to do these things AND avoid Easter crowds, spring break crowds, and grad nights? Do the longer hours over Easter make up for the crowds?

I am set on March or April for this trip. Thanks in advance!

We've only been in Orlando once in March ('04) and it was too chilly to enjoy the pools. However, we're trying it again this coming March, during my school break. I think if you want pool weather, you stand a better chance in April. Since I always like the Epcot Flower show, I would go sometime after April 13th. That's when it begins in 2007.

The end of APRIL is fantastic!!! Relatively low crowds and GREAT weather ... and NO SPRING BREAK ACTION going on!! End of April and beginning of May are our favorite times to visit WDW!! Although I'll go ANY TIME!! :cool1:

I am concerned about going the end of April because grad nights are both Fri & Sat 4/20 & 21 and Fri. & Sat. 4/27 & 28. It seems like half of the trip would be taken up by grad nights (and I love the fireworks there). I am also concerned that this would make the crowds much worse in the other parks on those nights. What do you think? I would like to see the Flower & Garden Show. I bet it is gorgeous!

We went 3/25-3/31 this year. The beginning of the week, weather wise, was nice. Towards the end of our trip its was pretty hot. I would suggest the beginning to middle of March.

We went the last week in April. The crowds were manageable, although busier than when we went in October. We had great weather, five minutes of rain the whole week, and were able to swim everyday. Epcot looked really nice with the flower festival going on. We plan to go in April and October from now on, we had a positive experience on both trips and it works out well with work.
