March of the First Order

We are only planning a half day at DHS in January because there aren't that many things we want to see. We also won't have any FPs because we're using the afternoon to go to AK and hopefully use one of our days of Pandora FPs.

Anyway, for some reason I'm having a harder time doing a plan for this morning than for any of the rest of our days and there are only a few things we actually need to fit in!

My DH just informed me that he wants to watch the March of the First Order. What's the deal with this? It looks like it happens on the hour but where do we need to be to see it? We'll have a five year old with us so hopefully somewhere where we won't be behind a huge crowd. Do we need to stake out a spot early?

It'll happen along Hollywood Blvd. They walk out from near the front of the park and head up the main road to the stage. They make a stop about halfway right at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. This is where you want to be.

You can grab a spot just a few minutes before it starts. With a little one I'd grab a sidewalk spot about 10 min prior
