March - last week?

Just found out we're heading for Disney the last week of March - 25-30. We're meeting friends who are coming off a cruise, and we'll be at Saratoga Springs. We've never been at this time of year. Are college/spring breaks usually over with at this time? Easter is still a few weeks away - just wondering about crowd levels. Thanks.

We will be there the first week of April and that is our Spring Break here. We are expecting big crowds.

I have heard the end of March is VERY busy. Some claim it to be busier than summer time!

I'm there early-mid March and have been warned by folk on here, it gets busier the later you go into the month of March.

We are in Illinois (NW of Chicago) and our school spring breaks are that last week of March. We will be there March 23 - April 2, so I am crossing my fingers it won't be too bad. I have been to WDW over 30 times and many of them during spring breaks & have found out that you just can't predict how the crowd level will be. Sometimes it has actually been very slow, others packed. The weather is usually fabulous, though! I know last year at this time it was a zoo,(I wasn't there - went to HI instead!!) but Easter was the end of March and that always does effect the crowd level. We just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best!

As the poster above mentioned, the spring break for the Chicago-area is the last week of March and so that is when we are going (March 25-31).

However, there was another post where people listed when their spring break was and it seemed like Chicago was the only area that had spring break the last week of March. Most people had spring break either earlier in March or in April.

So, you may have a lot of Chicagoans , but that seemed to be it.

This is our spring break too (we will be on the Disney Cruise that week). Based on airfare prices for that week, I would say it is going to be crowded.

I noticed that in that other thread, too!! That is giving me some hope that this may not be one of the worst spring break visits to WDW. We have had some awesome ones in the past!! I know tons of people that went down at this time last year and said it was AWFUL as far as crowds. Hopefully that will keep some folks away this same week this year -maybe they don't realize that the fact that Easter was in late March last year played a factor in those mega crowds.

Our Spring break is also the last week of March where I live in Ohio. We are planning to be there the 26th-31st. Hoping for the best!! I think the weather will be a great trade .

Looks like us Midwesterners will be there together! Someone from Indiana also said their break was the last week of March. I still don't think it will be the busiest spring break week.

I don't mind crowds though. We go every July and we love the excitement at that time of year. I hope it is warm enough to swim! The average temperature for that time of year is around 80, which is perfect, but you never know. We can't wait!

I think that week will be right smack in the middle of Spring Break madness. Many Iowa schools have this same week.
