Welcome to March! The first day of Spring is right around the corner.:flower3: Time to get ready for all those fun summer activities!

So let's get moving!! :cool1:

I challenge you to push just a little harder this month to get in a little bit more activity. Plan your gym/walks/swims/skiing, etc and get in that exercise this month!

Did you know that a goal of 1800 min for the month is just 60 min a day of activity?
A goal of 900 min is 30 min of activity per day. :goodvibes

How the challenge works:
Post your personal goal for March (xxxx minutes of exercise) and then post updates as frequently as you like. Progress will be tracked here.
Please post your update total at the top of your post.
You are also welcome to share your activity as well.
EXAMPLE:
301/1800
45 min running.


As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color:
At 10% you'll be blue and on the move!
At 25% you'll be hitting it hard and hot pink!
At 50% you'll be purple and halfway there!
At 75% you'll be teal and cruising to the finish
At 90% you'll be red (because you'll be on fire!)
And at 100% you'll be WISH green!

After an abysmal try in February, I am still determined to finish this stinking challenge!
To keep it simple:
The week starts on Saturday, report results on Friday.
Your choice this month of how you do your planks. You can even include rest days. :)


My goal is: 2 full for 30 seconds each every Saturday-Thursday, off Fridays. I am giving up on side planks for now.

Please note: :)

I do not track minutes by adding in individual workouts. I track by copying what you put in your post (ex 20/2000).

In other words, I do not really like adding. Not because I can't add, or not because excel can't add ;), but because it is faster to set up and update by updating your actual total only.

So please, if at all possible, follow the standard format:

20/2000.


I have a spread sheet that I have been keeping for years that tracks my minutes and adds them each month as well as helps me see what I need to do to stay on track for the rest of the month. If anyone wants a copy I can email it to them. :)

I am signing up again!

My goal is 30 minutes every day, so that is 930 total for the month.

I am also joining in with the plank challenge, doing full planks, 2x30 seconds per day, every day.
 

Me! I'm in again. I'll up it by 100 minutes for March, so a goal of 1600 minutes.

For today, I've done 60/1600

I'll also do the plank challenge again: six days of front and reverse planks (60 seconds) and side planks (30 seconds each side).
 
Met my 850 goal in Febraruy so I want to increase it, but not by an unrealistic amount.

Goal for March: 875

Started off today with a trip to the gym. Treadmill for a little longer than usual, arm and leg exercises, a little less. = 60 minutes

Total so far 60/ 930

Heading to Florida this week to warm up!!!!!!!

I count Disney walking if I am doing it instead of transportation or if it is purposeful. For instance if I walk from BW to DHS instead of taking the boat or if I purposely turn runkeeper on and do a walk around epcot or MK.
