March (exercise) Madness Challenge - Move into SPRING!!! FINAL UPDATE

At the beginning of the month, I wrote a goal. Later that day, I found out that a very close friend was losing her battle with cancer. I tried to spend every evening with her and her family. Last week, she passed after fighting a great fight for over 9 years! It was a rough couple weeks, but in memory of my friend Janet who was athletic ALL of her life, I'm starting back at the gym tonight!! She'd be proud that I'm not putting it off until I'm less tired! :-)

So now my goals must change. I'm still planning 600 minutes a week. But now that half of the month is over, my goal is now 1200 minutes for the month of March! Hopefully I can pull it off! :-)
 
Well I sort of fell off the wagon over the weekend. with a sick husband and a teething 18 month old, I'm not suprised. But i'm back on today.

My daughter and i just went on a short walk. It wasn't a super intense walk (she's only 19 months) but my heart did get pumping.

So I'll add twenty more minutes.

Whoo Hoo!!! It's been a rough month, but I finally started! A one hour spin class and an hour on the treadmill! After being off for the last few weeks, I ought to be hurting tomorrow! BUT... I'll be back at the gym tomorrow evening!

As of yesterday I am at 890/1800 min. Almost where I should be, but not quite. Guess I should be checking in here more often to keep up my motivation.

Headed out in a few minutes to get today's workout in. As long as I keep that up I will be fine for the month.

To motivate myself to finish, I've decided to treat myself to some new sports bras when I complete my goal. Hopefully having cute workout clothes will help motivate me next month too!

I am at 405/500! Looks like I just might make my goal this month.
