I have gone 4 times in March over the last 9 years and there are several reasons I like this time, even if you do have some Spring Break crowds:
1) The weather is great. Not too hot, and usually in the upper 70's to lower 80's (depending on when in March you go). In our 4 trips, which would be close to 40 total days in Orlando, we had mist/light rain 2 times and never had a washout day of continual rain. Humidity is lower and the mornings/evenings are cool to the point that jackets can be needed.
2) Even with some days being busier than others, we were able to always leave feeling like we did everything we wanted to do. We always take breaks during the day to swim/shop/etc and still find it manageable to do what we want to do and more !
3) The 2 trips we had later in March, both were fine. Some days/parks busier than others, but not wall to wall people the whole time. This last March the end of our 10 day trip was the busiest we had seen it, and that was from March 12-15th where most park days were 8's or 9's.
4) Did I mention that the weather is great in March ???
