While my teenager is in Chicago on a school trip, my friend and I are not so quietly sneaking off to Disneyland.

My vacation starts at noon on the 3/25 but we won't be in the park 'til the next day. We've got 30 days til we'll be playing in the park. (3/26-29)

My PS are made. My lists have been reviewed over and over. I have all the food and drinks bought except what would expire before we leave. Still need to pick up our tickets and I'm thinking about making a laundry bag or two.

Now, if I can just get ahead in my classes so I won't feel so guilty about missing them that week. lol My friend plans to write her essay in the car. lol

I've been trying to get my packing list in order, get some road snack recipes together, and doing some Disney shopping so like others we aren't so tempted to buy there.

You can say that again (and again! and again!). My trip was only decided on two days ago and it's all I can think/talk about and nobody except the friend I'm going with wants to hear anything about it.
