March car rental for next week hope you have your reservations

I have mine at Alamo for 3/24 - 3/31 but everyday I look up to see what they are charging now on the Costco site. Today it is saying all cars from all the rental companies are all sold out?! Thinking I did something wrong I look up on Alamo and again they say they are sold out! Gosh I hope to get my rental and will do everything I can to avoid the counter!

WOWZA! That is astounding to me! I checked who we are renting through and sure enough not a single car available. Not even the super swanky high end ones!!

I'm really not suprised at all, the pandemic really took a bit bite out of the rental industry they tried their best to reduce their cash flow and pushed cars off the lots to be sold or returned. It's going to take a while for them to recover and have the fleets they used to have. I predict sky high prices for Uber/Lyft for the Spring Break time frame.

My son just flew into MCO at midnight from Las Vegas (March Madness)...and said the line for car rentals at 1:00 a.m. were really long! So be prepared.
