March break weather - oh no!

So just saw the long range 14 day forecast for Orlando and while it's 20's there now, Friday March 11th it drops to 10 and Saturday the 12th is goes to 9 degrees

A low of 3!!!!!!!!!

I can't handle another cold March Break!

Well, all I can say is that a 14-day forecast here would mean absolutely nothing. They can't get the same day forecast right sometimes! So, maybe it'll change! We are leaving on March 25 and am praying every day for warm weather. I'm OK with a little rain, I just don't want cold!!

I'm not getting too bent out of shape over the long range. Last week they said it was going to rain every day the second week of March...that's already changed! Besides..ANYTHING has be better than all this SNOW we're having!!

Accuweather doesn't have that and it's been pretty accurate since I started looking at the extended forecast for our time which is now.

I like your forecast better! Agreed it is pretty far away and will change. I just remember last year - we had 2 days in the low 70's and the rest 60's and 50's. I am suffering from a bad cold so 80 and sun sounds pretty good right now.

I know we are looking and watching like a hawk, we were there last year as well, and it was to cold for my liking! I watched last week, and saw all the highs in the 80's and thought, thank God! Now our first week looks horrible, and our Discovery Cove day it is calling for rain and cold as well. The same thing happened last year, and we ended up holding the ressie for a year, (which is this year) The only thing that has me hoping is if you read the long range forecast for March, it says it is supposed to be a hotspot! Let's hope!

I just looked at Accuweather and the forcast, right now, is looking really good for MB. We don't leave until the 15th and they are only showing up to the 13th...it's looking good so far. This coming week is going to be absolutely beautiful down there.

Sorry, I think that might be my fault. Apparently I am weather cursed everytime I travel to where it is supposed to be warm it isn't!

Well Joandegennaro, then we make double trouble for Orlando. We did Turks last year and it was 60's and rain the whole week! In the carribean! Said they had never seen weather like that (because I had never gone there).

I'll save the big complaining til next weekend. Oh, did I mention that last year we landed in Orlando during a wicked storm (circled the sky for an hour) and found out it was a tornado the same day we landed.

So praying for heat and sunshine.

OH no is right.....my DD is heading to Cuba on her first solo trip.....her Grad trip no less and the weather in Cuba is directly related to the weather in Florida (only 90 miles away) so I am praying for good weather for her to. She opted out of Disney and is heading out with STRIP instead.....oh how time flies....she was a Disney princess not so long ago.....and now she's growing up Hope the forecast improves for all

Sorry, didn't see I was in the Canadian forum. I read by new posts and the title caught my eye. So what's that in Fahrenheit?

OK, I was taught the formula in school but I never remember it. I just have these:

0C=32F
10C=50F
20C=68F
30C=86 F

Metric conversion classes are now over. LOL

Right now the "feels like" temp -5C/23F where I am. In Orlando its 32C/90F. Hmmm..where do I want to be right now?

We drove through that storm last year. Didn't know till we go to the hotel in Daytona that we drove through a storm that spawned a tornado

DH says this is the last time we vacation in March!

Went to Cuba back in October. Landed and then had a tropical depression hit . Went to Bahamas October '09 and cool and breezy. Although not hurricane the winds were up there.

Yeah....I was thrown off not realizing you were talking celsius. I was thinking 20? Where the heck is she getting her forecast from.

I'm hoping it'll stay warm. I'm loving this weather!

Just came back from the gym here at Windsor Hills and the TV weather forcast (channel 13) was showing terrific temps for next week. It looks like there is a slight chance of rain tomorrow (30%). Believe me the weather is not even close to last year's cold temps. This week and last week (we were in Daytona Beach) have been above seasonal. Things are shaping up for a terrific March Break.

Cey, If you could come back and report that about the weather everyday, I would be so happy!! As long as it is good news! We arrive on the 7th at 11 am, we are looking forward to getting rid of this pasty white skin from our Northern Ontario winter!
