I've been keeping my eye on all kinds of flights to WDW.... mostly out of Bangor & Portland. (flights out of Fredericton don't even come close in price) There are several seat sales going on for late 2011 & early 2012 but the flights for early March seem to be creeping higher.

What's the chance we might see a seat sale for March Break flights to WDW?

Did anyone get a seat sale last year for March Break?..... if so when?

We've gone several times on March break and never get seat sales. We aren't close enough to the border to try flying out of Bangor so there may be some sales there. We buy early and the flights just go up and up the closer we get. Good luck!

Very rarely I've seen deals from Halifax to Orlando, but they always involve leaving a few days before March break and arriving home after. Case in point ... March 16, 2010 to March 29th 2010 was $329 (taxes and fees in) from Halifax. However, if I lived in Fredericton or O, I would take the run to MHT, BOS or PWM in a heart beat.

Going Feb 29 - Mar 9 , 2012...we don't want to travel to Maine given the time of the year. Halifax is also not on our short list...unless the price makes sense given the travel, parking etc.

Using Airmiles from Moncton-Newark and then cash from Newark-Orlando.

Leaving Feb 29 as is will cost me more Airmiles starting Mar 1st....so we'll be getting a room only for a few days before our MYW Free Dining Package takes effect on Mar 3rd.

Total cost is about $500 + 975 airmiles each ...... ($180 + $50 baggage fees to Newark (return) - then JetBlue (1st bag free) Newark-Orlando is about $270 (return).

The Newark-Orlando pricing has remained relatively stable for the past 2 months. The price is cheaper with other airlines, but when you count in the extra $25 baggage fees each way, Jetblue is the cheapest.

I'm getting tired of checking the airline prices EVERY day for the past 2 months - so I'll be booking in the next few days (at least that's what I keep telling myself).
