Booked airfare.

Going to take kids out of school this year as weekend flights for March break have gotten out of hand.

Doing DCL out of Miami and a few days in Miami.

Booked Delta out of Buffalo, Tue- Tues and total cost was $328 CAD per person. Have not paid that little in years, so I am thrilled.

We missed a March Break trip this year and it was so sad, so I am glad we have something booked.

We skipped WDW this spring too, because our spring break aligned perfectly with Easter week, meaning high airfare, high resort prices, crazy crowd predictions. We decided to go in November and catch the last part of Food and Wine and the first part of Christmas.

Having said that I was looking at March airfares. Most legacy carriers are just opening up the end of March around now. Hmmm.......

Hi you got a good deal! WestJet just released some more flights to Florida mid March and they are crazy expensive! Some direct flights to MCO at around 900.00 return.

We are going March 15-22., 2016

Kids will go back for 2 days and then off for Good Friday so should have booked longer, but will save for a summer trip.

We are sailing out of Miami as well, March 16 on the Wonder! Flying in 2 days early.

Oh my Gosh!
I do believe the airlines are trashing any advantage we used to have booking months in advance.
I swore I wasn't going to go with Air Canada again but right now both Air Canada and West Jet flights for next March break are very high. I know I "might" be able to take a persoanal leave without pay next year, but my annual trip in March is definately my prefered time of year to go to Disney.
Anyone ever experience the cost of flights coming down in the past?
I am 10 minutes from YYZ (Toronto) so I prefer to not fly out of the USA.
Our March Break here is March 12th-20th

Wow! NVM Air transat is $770 but Sunwing is over $900!

I wanted to go for 2016 March break but looking at those flight prices it might be impossible. My partner drives a school bus so if we want him to be able to go that's the only week since I don't think we could handle the heat in the summer. We are really close to Pearson but I'll drive to Buffalo for $1000.00

I checked them and Air Transit is higher than I usually pay(770.00) and Sunwing is very high(1100.00) for Sunwing.

On a Positive note I am booked!!! YEAH
I just recieved my West Jet dollars for getting a West Jet mastercard and it will bring my fare down to
$550.00 Return -direct flight-no baggage fees and hopefully no super long airport check in issues like I've been experiencing with A/C .
This will be my first time flying with West Jet so hopefully all goes well.

If you are able to fly out of Buffalo you should be able to get some great deals via southwest or Jet blue.
Many people here fly BUF. Also keep an eye on West Jet flying out of Hamilton Airport .(YHM)--great small airport.
Their flights out of there for MCO (Orlando) are only Saturdays and Tuesdays.
I was tempted to skip work(personal leave) on the Monday and Tuesday of the March break and fly out of YHM --the flights are $485.00 RT Non stop.
March 15-March 22 2016.

We are planning march break again next year too. Leaving the 11 and returning the 18. Am waiting for JetBlue to open their dates up. We flew this year at march break with them and booked the day flights were released and got all 5 of us return for 1000$ definitely worth driving to buffalo as Toronto prices are crazy!!

I just booked Delta today! Flying March Break, Monday to Monday, from Syracuse for $260US. I'm so glad I saw this post and immediately checked the Delta website, thanks! Flying from Buffalo would have been cheaper but that would have been a 4.5 hour drive when Syracuse is 2.5 hours. Paying a little more is worth it for a shorter drive with 3 kids in the car, lol!

I drive to Seattle, but I'm 30 min from Vancouver. Even factoring in overnight hotel it's cheaper.

We drive 7 hours to Buffalo or 7.5 hours to Flint Mi. We are in Northern Ontario so even Toronto is 5.5 to 6 hours for us to save $1500 its worth it for us.
