My best friend is celebrating her 40th with a cruise! Crazy girl wants to do the Castaway Cay 5k... However, her daughter and I will be cheerleading!

I'm Michelle, from Irving (a Dallas suburb) and I'm cruising with my friend Rebekah (who also happens to be from Virginia) and her daughter. I'll go find the facebook group, too.

I'm glad to get to see the Dream again - it's been over a year! We got a Magic Porthole room - at the very front of the ship!

WOOOHOOOO!!!!! I was able to upgrade from an inside stateroom to a verandah for (drum roll, please) $103.57!!! So - go check your prices!

Someone had put a note out on the board that they had upgraded for $11ish - and sure enough, when I went and repriced, it looks like I'm going to upgrade from an inside stateroom to a 9D for about $35 total (I've got an e-mail in to my TA to make sure I didn't miss something). Anyway - just wanted to share the potential news! I'll let you know what happens for sure either way.

I also got that upgrade I had orignaly posted it said pixie dust... My up grade was 11.52 and with taxes and other fees I ended up paying a little less than 100 to go from a 9a deluxe oceanveiw to a 5d verandah can't complain at all.. And I am also on this march 6 dream cruise... Will be my third crusie ever and all on the dream.. Will be bringing my father in law along it's his first cruise ever he never gets time fr himself as he works to much this will be a much needed break for him

Sorry - it's been a crazy week! We did get the upgrade, but jumped to a verandah for a grand total of $103! Well worth the money in my opinion!

I'm Michelle's friend from Virginia, and I CAN'T WAIT til March 6!!! well, who are we kidding, I can't wait til March 5, since that's when we're flying down and when I get to see Michelle!

This will be my 4th Disney cruise, but my first one in about 10 years, and my first time on the Dream, and my daughter's first time on a ship. Also, my first time to turn 40 (though likely not my last!).

I'm already researching like mad. Yes, I want to run the 5k, just for fun; my own "because I love you" may be being forced to do the AquaDuck. I do not like water parks or water rides (except Splash Mountain, of course! or safe ones like Peter Pan), so getting on a raft and being careened down a tiny tube is not my idea of fun--but it's the #1 thing my dd wants to do.

It's all so very overwhelming and amazing and magical and stupendous and I'm just about to die even in the planning stage. LET'S PARTY!!!!

So great to meet y'all; can't wait to hear your stories too!
