My mom didn't seem too dissappointed, I think my guilt was worse. I talked to her and sent her flowers. She loved the flowers and with a storm hitting the midwest and her stuck inside, she told me it will really help. I just didn't realize the cat eats all flowers and plants, but she did find a place the cat hasn't figured how to get to yet.
I saw that another storm is supposed to be hitting (or may even have hit). Have schools been closed or businesses shut down, or does that area deal with this really well?
It is 15 days until we leave for our trip

I haven't even started packing, I am starting to panic. It is so much easier to pack ahead on a trip like this, where we are still wearing winter clothes and the trip will be summer stuff. I have even decided (this may be weird) that since our undies and socks are pretty worn out, I am going to buy us all new and take the old and then just throw it out and not even worry about bringing it back. My husband thinks I have officially lost my mind on this trip.
For those of you at the parks before the cruise, if you see 3 people in Boise State t-shirts and sweatshirts (we are the dream team that won the Fiesta Bowl - we will be in orange), that is us. Come up and introduce yourselves. My dad taught us that one, to always wear identifiable clothes and then you are easy to find if lost. He always wore an orange (Illinois University) cap and is tall, we never lost him. Of course, the bermuda shorts, black crew socks and rubber sandals made us want to lose him

Seriously, that is what he wore on vacation with a loud shirt, orange cap and a camera draped over him

He has so much confidence he didn't care what others thought of him and he always said vacation wasn't a fashion statement.
I am planning on dressing a little better, just an orange top, but regular jeans and shoes. And on the cruise, I will be more fashionable.
Well, I better be going. Gotta get the DD to school, me to personal training and then to the office. The bookkeeper has been sick for 2 days now, so I have to go into the office and neglect my cruise planning. I am telling you, work gets in the way of this vacationing.
