Has anybody heard if they will be showing "Meet The Robinsons" on the cruise? When cars came out last summer they had a special showing on board and it was really fun. We had already seen the show but ran down to see it again (nothing like watching Disney on the Magic).

It comes out the day before we leave. BUMP to the senior management to get this on board!! It's particularly nice for those of us who have seen the shows before.

JCNovitch- On our last cruise, I ordered what Shirley of The Perfect Gift called "Beers Around the World." It was a gift basket with about 6 or 7 beers (imports), chips and salsa, salted nuts and other salty snacks. DH loved it!

We talked a little about "Meet the Robinsons" earlier in the thread and the majority vote seems to be that it will indeed be showing when we are on the ship. In fact, I'm so sure that two of my door signs revolve around the movie!! If its not showing I might have to get online while on board and download it pirate style....arrrgh....

It should debut on the cruise right before us...but that means it will only show on the last night for them. We get to watch it for the full week

cruisecrzy, correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've read they won't "promise" any movie that is yet unreleased. It sounds like they almost always play any new movie on the ship however.

dpuck I do not know the exact answer. They actually do not guarantee any of the movies or entertainement. All of it is subject to change....I am sure that is the disclaimer from the folks at Disney Legal.

My DH would probably know the answer to this question, but he is asleep...something I should be.

It would be cool if we were part of a premEAR at Sea. We were on cruise when Haunted Mansion premEared and it was a cool experience. They really did things up and gave us some little trinkets as well.

I believe Disney Dreams is premiering only on the Wonder in March.....but I could be wrong.

Got to love those movies and the release.

Sad that we don't get the updated shows first. I guess they figure they hit twice as many people per week on the Wonder.

i'm still loyal to the Magic! Even think the new ships will be too big and will lose some of that 'charm' --- they seem to Carnival like... but we shall have to wait on that one.

Basement mostly refinished so hopefully I can get my computer down to my den and work on signs this weekend. So far only have some ideas... and have a LOT of learning to do w/ Adobe Elements.... May have to punt here.

Cruizecrzy --- did we ever settle on deck 10 for the cast off party? I was going to make my family wear the green mickey things w/ GOTTA LOVE DIS on them (whether they like it or not! ) My wife thinks i'm crazy to talk to all these strangers on-line

I am not sure that we ever settled on a DISmeet so hear it is now.

We shall have a DISmeet at the Sailaway party on Deck 10 portside (se we can watch the port CM's wave with their giant Mickey hands). Arrive about 15min before the party so we can talk and mingle before the party.

If you are going to wear something that will symbolize who you are post it like Dixielandings then we will all know what to look for.

As for crazy Dixielandings....my husband thought that, but has gotten over it. We have met a lot of great people this way. Last March one of the DISer families even watched our daughter for half an hour so we could go through our Shutters pictures. You will not catch him wearing a green mickey, but we have one on our cabin door.

Speaking of cabins if anyone has room numbers they want me to update the list with let me know. I will update on Wednesday for a final time so those traveling midweek will have the final updates.

It's almost time!! We'll be flying out Thursday night so 1 week from today I'll be on Florida soil. Still have so much to do and time is running out! Has anyone checked the weather reports? In St Thomas today it's suppose to be a beautiful sunny day with temps at 83 degrees and humidity at 58%!

and i'll check with my in house meteorologists.... But 10 day forecast barely covers our vacation period so tough to predict anything other than 'normal weather' for time of year.
