March 31-April 7, 2007 Eastern...3rd try :-)

I love your signs. I think the first one is so original and fun. Great work.

One suggestion that I had gotten last year and I shall pass it on in case you have not heard it anywhere. Put your cabin number on any sign that does not have a family name...apparently less disappear when the cabin number is on them.

Last March it was sad that this poor boy across the hall from us had gotten his "cabin door artwork" taken. He made it and it had a special magnetic (I think Canada) with it. No stateroom # or name on it. His parents put a note up on the door stating their disgust and asking that it be returned. Made me sad everytime I left our room and saw the note.

Thanks for the advise.

Something I learned working the "Air Zoo" in Kalamazoo (a non-profit aircraft history musuem). I worked in the gift shop and was told, if someone steals something let them go, if the need/want it that much then they can have it. Its not worth the bother or headaches confroting them. Thats my mantra now, if someone wants something be it a parking spot or in front of the line, so be it. All my art work is saved on my computer so should it go lost then someone else will be enjoying it at least.

On that same note, I just may include a cabin number anyway, I just felt like spouting off :confused3

This time change thing today is making me goofy...but it was almost 50 here in southwest michigan. What a great weekend to finally get outside!!

We got our room numbers today. We are very excited because we got our favorite location.....deck 5 aft.

We are 5642 and our friends are 5644.

Now I can fix my signs so there will be no confusion.;)

Can you believe in less than 18 days until we get to board the Magic.

My DD reminded me today that I need to take her to the MK to get her haircut for Mickey Boat. I promised her we would go on Monday..wouldn't want her to have bad hair on a cruise. :)

I think it is time that we all start finalizing our DISmeet plans and how we shall identify each other.

Anyone wearing anything special at the port? Anyone wearing a DISgreen Mickey head "paint chip?" I have a barrett that I made with one.

I think we have all agreed that we want to meet at the sailaway. I think Deck 10 portside is best.

Not sure what time people plan on getting to the port. I know our intention is to leave around 9am and we have a 45min drive. That said we will end up leaving closer to 9:30am.

Also, just a reminder to complete those online check-ins if you have not already.

I'm livid. My travel agent SUCKS.

Our plane isn't landing in Orlando until 1:22 PM! Are you KIDDING me?

Could someone PLEASE tell me how long the shuttle is? What time can I reasonably expect to board the ship? We asked for an early flight.

SHe's done a horrible job all the way through . I'm a teacher and she works at my school as an assistant so I thought I'd give her the business and I am *so sorry* I did.

And just another post, remember I showed you the website I ordered my dd a present from? www.goodypak.com. I think it's being shipped today or tomorrow! And now the lady from the site is starting a cruise pak! I can't wait to see it.

:)

It takes about 45min- 1 hour to get from the port to the airport once you board the bus. I you taking a DCL bus or other form of transportation.

I am sure the local news where you are has covered the changes at Orlando International. Figure from the time you walk off the plane until you get to the transportation area 20-30min.

On paper you should be able to get there with time a small amount of time to spare. Is your luggage being tagged to go directly from the plane to the ship (DME)?

PM me if it is DCL transportation and I can get you in contact with folks that can help you.

No docs here yet! Maybe sometime this week?

Is your 15 year-old planning on going to the teen club? I think mine will try it with her cousins. SHe did not like the clubs on our last cruise but she was on the older end of her group.

How many of you are dressing up for pirate night?

As of yesterday the docs for our sailing had not been sent out. I bet I get them last our of everyone and I live 15min straight up the road from the office they are sent from. I swear they make the UPS man walk them here.

As for pirate night in our group the two adult women will be wearing costumes pictured below, my husband has upgraded and will be wearing a Pirates of the Carribean T-shirt this time (that will teach him to let me go to downtown Disney) and one other male will be wearing a Pirate shirt along with an eyepatch and sword and maybe a hat.

Here is a picture. Not one of my daughters better ones an she does not have her Pirate mickey hat. But I made the costume so it will give you an idea of what our group will look like.

LOL, dd is wearing a Pirates of Caribbean tshirt, DH, Mom, Dad, and i are wearing patches and tattoos. Party on! LOL.

Yeah, lol, I'm not really a dress-up kind of gal. LOL, I never dress up for Halloween unless I'm going to a party where the hosts specifically say that you must come dressed.

Anyway, I bought the pirate tattoos on ebay.
:)

We are doing the doc dance here!!! Now it is really time to start packing. Looks like they were sent out yesterday morning according to the sticker on my envelope.

Awesome!! That will really make it feel "Real".

Can someone give me a rundown of what needs to be printed and signed to do online checkin? Just want to make sure I have what I need, it was a little confusing when I was checking in online. Do I need the "credit" sheets? What all documents do I need to have when I get to port?

Thanks all...see ya soon..

Mine is planning to "check it out" Last cruise she brought her best friend with her so they hung out in the stack all the time. This time I'm sure she'll meet some kids but she did say she wanted to hang out by the pool more too.
