Glad that you are joining.. WE were on the same Dream cruise in 2011. I would like to participate in a FE if anyone else is interested.. That was a lot of fun for our family..

We'd love to do the fish extender for this cruise. I was too late in discovering this activity for our first cruise last year, but I am signed up for it on our cruise this August. I have had more fun creating our gifts! I just can't wait! Now if only I'd win the NYS lottery so I could cruise more often..... lol

You and I both about winning the NYS Lottery.. (I am from Upstate NY) Our April 7th 2011 Dream cruise was our first and I fell in LOVE with it. We originally had the April 6th 2013 Fantasy booked when I found out our son's Spring Break schedule in January.. We went to WDW for 10 days for this years Spring Break and found a message that for the first time ever that they changed the dates after they voted on it. (To the week before it was scheduled) I was going to change the dates however the cost for the week before was over 2k more.. So instead, We are doing this cruise and I am fine with it because we can also do 5 days at WDW.. The FE's are one of the things I loved most about the cruise and hope to get some others who want to participate..

Love that you've taken the lead! Thank you! I've been thinking about my FE gifts, but no firm plans for them yet. We are doing a cruise out of NYC this August that I'm working on now...I should get one done before the other.

It is a small world...I'm upstate too (Elmira). Our Dream cruise hooked me last year. I can't imagine wanting to take a cruise on any line but Disney. Our school districts used to always put spring break the third week of April - which was great when it didn't connect to Easter...less crowds to contend with at WDW. We were moved to Easter week a couple years ago and that led us to try the cruise and I was in love. I think I'm as excited for Castaway Cay as I am to get back on the ship.

I'll be taking notes on this one! I have heard a lot of conflicting opinions on the boards about the smaller ships vs. the larger & newer ones. I am excited to have two days at sea to really experience the ship. The Dream cruise last year seemed to fly by way too quick, so I felt like there was so much more I wanted to do on the ship.
We opted to stay home over spring break this year, so that we could do the cruise in August. However, I am in the horrible stages of WDW withdrawl, so I actually have a trip planned there for a few days at the end of August! We are meeting up w/ my best friend an her family. Top secret in my house...my daughter has no idea! I can't believe that I've been able to keep it a secret!

I just received my planning guide in the mail from DCL. So here is the good?/bad? part for all of us Silver Castaway people..Our check in to start booking Port Adventures, Palo and such is Dec 31 2012.. (Midnight) Yep, New Years Eve... I do not go out for New Years Eve so it might be good for me.. However, I feel bad for anyone who has plans and is doing the countdown at the computer.

This cruise is filling up real quick. Friends of ours were booking a room (3 adults and a 5 year old child ) and all that was available was concierge.. However, I looked for them to have 2 rooms and that was available.. At a cost of 1,500.00 less.. Go Figure...

What do I need to do make sure I can be involved with FE?

Welcome Tina... You are posting in the correct place for The March 31 Dream FE.. When we get a few more families we will start a list for all of those that are going to be on this cruise.. Glad to have you on board for our FE..
