So...who already has plans on rebooking on board?

And who is too excited to sleep...I feel like that Disney commerical too!
I can't believe it what has been planned, talked, hyped about is actually 3 days away...

Just sharing a funny kid story...I told my DD (6) that I was proud of her tonight as I was tucking her in bed and she responded that she was proud of me too...I asked for what....and she said...for not stopping your work so we don't live in the road! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: Kids are too funny! I guess when we saw the homeless people in NYC this December really affected her!

Have a good night...3 more sleeps...

or if you use my daughter's understanding of time
...approximately 144 episodes of Full House!

Michelle

ooppss...I forgot...anyone know what Movies will be playing on board? Sorry if I have missed it being posted earlier somewhere...

Also do they just show Movies on that huge TV screen or do they show disney channel shows like Raven and Hannah Montana?

Nite-nite!

Andrew and I will more than likely rebook onboard. We are planning on doing a cruise for our 25th anniversary in May '09. So we will rebook a dummy date and than change it later!
Too cute about your DD6! I'm glad you didn't stop your work too, because then we wouldn't be meeting soon!

Oooh - I'd love to know what movies are on board. I've been hoping for Bridge to Terabithia. They do show first-run movies, right? Does anyone know if that movie's even appropriate for our 7 and 8 year olds?

We're thinking about rebooking on the cruise. Only problem is that we're planning to cruise again in 2012 (when the twins are 5)... how long can we keep changing our res??

I'm glad to have you all as excited as me! I'm generally acknowledged as the Disney addict of my group. Nice to have enablers like you. ;)

The number to call is 1-888-325-2500, then pick the reservation option and ask what movies are playing. :3dglasses I was going to wait until next week to do so.

here is the phone number again to call about movies. they are only open until 10:00PM time, so i missed them tonight.

I don'tbeleive there is a limit to how many times you can move your ressie.

And we are proud of our addiction to the DIS :disrocks:

LOL :rotfl2:

Here's what happened...

1. I sent a link to a YouTube - a video of the cruise ship's horn with that fabulous blast. Just a teaser for where we'll soon be.
2. I thought, "Oops - what if links are against the rules??" :confused3
3. I went to edit, erased, got distracted by dueling crying babies, sent you all a period.

It was a particularly lovely period, though, wasn't it?

So, can I put the link in there, or is that a no-no? Haven't managed to get to the posting guidelines yet, but I will eventually.

I particularly enjoyed the rubbing lemon juice on the screen comment. Last month, my 5 yr old, the little angel, decided to decorate my laptop screen with a yellow highlighter. Can we all tell she's resenting being replaced as the baby of the family?? Can't blame her for her frustration. CAN blame her for the ink on the computer. That was the timeout heard 'round the world.

Beth

she's using invisible ink! Rub lemon juice on the monitor to read it!

Excellent suggestion. I tried that and now not only is my monitor squeaky clean, but I have just enough lemon left over to make a nice lemon martini. :p :drinking: Which, as it turns out, is what that tiny dot Roodles posted said for ALL of us to do!:yay: :woohoo:

I must tell you all that it has been raining :umbrella: nearly nonstop here in the Sacramento area all day, even quite a hail storm. So much rain our pool is about to overflow. But knowing we're days away from "tropical paradise" :beach: (as my kids keep saying) makes me not mind it at all. Well, except for being out delivering Girl Scout cookies in the downpour this afternoon....:umbrella: :umbrella:

Attempted to pack today. Think I packed enough for a month - and will likely pack more tomorrow. Am I the only one doing this? -Ellen :moped:

I'm thinkin' there's a blonde joke in there somewhere. Or was that white-out on the screen? -Ellen :moped: (who is brunette by the way - or at least that's what it says on the Clairol box)

We forgive you, Beth! You had a double Mom minute! I think Ellen is making you a nice drink right now!

Oh, laughing too hard now.

I'm all for packing just a bathing suit and pair of shorts after I've had a few of those lemon martinis I've apparently been pushing.

Our bags are almost all packed. My DF and DM are taking our DS7 with them tomorrow, so I had to be prepared for them to take a couple of my checked items. That'll reduce us to just (ha!) 4 kids and still too much stuff to carry. Good news is, they're taking my biggest bags, so I won't be able to cram much else in the bags I'll have left. Quickly approaching the stuck-with-what-I've-got phase. Must mean it's getting close!

We leave Thursday morning for the airport! Only two more sleeps! Couldn't get DD8 to bed on time tonight - not sure if she was worse about delaying or if I was.
