Hey gang,

Here it is, the SECOND DAY OF SPRING, and we had snow flurries outside of Washington DC yesterday. This stinks.

The thought of laying on the beach at Castaway Cay is pretty appealing right now, no matter how far off it is! It's freezing here!!

I agree! No snow flurries, but it's been unusually cold here in California too...40's and 50's...BRRRR!!! I keep focusing on the Castaway Cay screen saver I have and dreaming of our cruise! I can't wait!

Up here if the temps are in the 50's it is t-shirt weather, if it isnt raining .

I will say it will be nice to celebrate both DD's b-day Disney style next year.

Hi all!!!
We just....oh, how depressing...how time flies...I was just about to say we just got back from our March 4, 2006, eastern cruise but I guess it's been almost a month already. I can't believe a thread has been started. Anyhow, hello to all you fellow ship mates.

We always said that we'd NEVER go on an identical holiday twice until we've gone everywhere we wanted at least once...well we enjoyed our first cruise SO much that we rebooked onboard...almost exact same time and same cruise. It will be me, DH and DD (she will be 5 at time of cruise) and Dx (child inutero...technically was on the first cruise) will be about 5.5 months old. We took my brother with us the first time and he even had a blast with his niece. And we're inviting all our friends and family for this one. So far, we've convinced my in laws to come, so they booked last week and my brother and cousin (both single) are in contemplation mood. Friends of ours are very interested as well.

DD is SO excited to go again. She had a blast....so much that she literally talks about the boat everyday since we left. One day she even told us that "canada is boring, let's move to S-lorida". We went to WDW two days after our cruise and hated it...even DD didn't care for it...except for seeing Pooh bear and friends.

We can't wait...hopefully DH and I will feel up to it after baby is born (he/she is due late Sept. 2006)...we'll only have about a month after baby is born to decide since we'll ahve to book flights no later than early November...especially from here and with airmiles. Here's hoping for a sane post pardum!!!!!

Welcome Qball! You sound like us - we got hooked after our first cruise last winter, went again this past February and thought we couldn't go again for another two years ($$), when DH's very generous uncle paid for us to go next March. We are incredibly excited - even going for the third time in three years, we still get a "magical" feeling just thinking about it.

Our DS will be 6 1/2 when we cruise next year, and DD will be about 3 weeks shy of 4 (going on 14 mind you!) so I'm sure our girls will be in the OC together.

Looking forward to "virtually" getting to know you and hearing about your new arrival in September - DS's b'day is the 9/28 and he's a darling boy with a great temperment so maybe you'll want to wish for the 28th...

My DH DD's (10 & 13 at time of cruise) just went on our first ever cruise last month.. 3 days on the Disney Wonder,(and yes Indea the weather was AWESOME in March! ) not near long enough though!!!!!... we loved it sooo much that we went ahead & booked this next cruise before we even got off the ship!!!! I just wish it was sooner

I have enjoyed reading all the post on this board & check it almost every day to see if any new post have been made... I was so excited to see that today there was, it's a fun and exciting way to get to know some of the people that will be cruising with you , keep the em' coming.... I'm new to this posting stuff ....so I'm hoping this makes it to the right thread!!!!!

I must confess..... I too check this message board several times a day as well Ever since we got back from our 3 day cruise.... I find reading all the trip reports very interesting as well as informational... We did DW on our own before the 3 day...We stayed at the Nickoledeon Hotel/ for 5 nights, it was awesome & our girls loved it, the rooms were great/the shows/pools /character breakfast ..(& shuttle service to the parks) it was alll so much fun.... BUT ....when we talk about this last trip we find ourselves mostly just talking about the cruise, I had book the 3 day not knowing what to expect, thinking that if we were to get seasick (which we didn't) 3 days would be better then a week ... so now here we are left with wanting more we did not book any off shore excursions on the 3 day as well as no on board ressies.. so all of that is still new to me.. I'm hoping to do Palo's at least once. DD's really didn't even do the oceaners lab much due to the fact that there never seemed not to be enough time.. so we are all looking forward to this 7 day with 3 @ sea days for some great R&R

On our last Western my DH said he felt like he ran the entire time while on the ship!!! We were to busy trying to find everything on the first cruise. On this one we are looking forward to the 3 sea days as well. We also felt as though we didnt get a chance to meet very many people, ( very quite at our table for meals!! we sat at a table for four, I was so looking forward to meeting others!! This time will be different, so excited about hosting the DIS Meet!!

I was doing a happy dance this morning when DH(Alanapapa) told me!!! We will be there with our rolling backpack too!!!!
Elkjmom, our girls didn't have much of a chance to go in the club/lab on our 3 day either. They are looking forward to it!
