March 3, 2007

Mark and Johnna, Caro and I have a favor to ask. Could she go home with you guys for a couple of days? :rolleyes1 :lmao: Over on the CB the PMSers are having a Meet in Willamsburg on Tuesday the 13th and Caro wants to go to it, but doesnt really want to cruise Saturday, stay Saturday night in FL, fly home Sunday and fly out again Monday. So what do you think, have room for one more?:crowded:

We needed to get back onto page one. We were about a third way down page two.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and that the sporting enthusiasts enjoyed the game and comercials. I saw on the CB that the Colts won.

We MAY be on this cruise too!

I initially wanted a 4 night, leaving March 4th, to celebrate someone turning 40 (cough)

The TA I went through booked us for a 4 day leaving March 1st...oops!

The cruise leaving on the 1st is a three day.

The 4 day looks to be sold out for what we want and the 7 night eastern may actually be less than the 4 night for us.

So, this week, the TA is trying to switch us to the 7 night leaving the 3rd.

Nothing like last minute!

Oops! Sorry. Forgot to mention it will be DH, DS10, DD8, and myself cruising (first cruise, spending time in Orlando before and after cruise too)

:welcome: To the family. I hope your TA can swing the change. We hope to hear soon.

Well welcome, and I hope that your TA is able to get you switched!!!!

For everyone counting the days until the cruise, it's 13 degrees outside in Washington this morning. 13 degrees with a high of 6 degrees (are you reading this, Kevin Bacon?) tonight.

And it's 6:11am.

Ugh. :surfweb:

Mark - it's 7:59am and here in Washington County, MD it is 3 degrees. The cruise is all we can talk about since it is so cold here... :cool2:

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! We went to brunch yesterday and while it was nice, Palo is better by leaps and bounds.

Welcome to everyone new! Wow - I missed so much in the last few days! We are still trying to get the last minute details together and then I will make our packing list! It's getting so close now!

Stacy

Welcome newbies, potential newbies (loveable gluttons), happy birthday Stacy and all the other stuff I've missed. More and more people - I can't keep track!!

Indea/Andie - I tried to reply to your PM but your box is full and not accepting any PM's. Hope you're okay with us moving the meet to Promenade Lounge - your suite, though bigger than any of our rooms, would be nice, but crowded since our group has grown. Plus - we could trash it and then leave you with a mess and then you'd never talk to us again. Is that okay with you???

Freezing my butt off (I wish that could really happen!),
J:cold:o:cold:h:cold:n:cold:n:cold:a:cold::cold:

PS - about the lanyards- Castaway Club members should get them (and pins) at check-in, and then the castaway club gift is also described here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=16782144#post16782144

See what happens when you complain about the weather. :rotfl2:

Wasn't it you Mark commenting about 70 or 75 degree warmth in January?

I will take the gloomy Pacific NW any day, even when we get unseasonable Snow or Ice. :eeyore:

As far as the weather goes...I think we are finally going to start warming up:sunny:

Friday with the wind chill it was -34 below zero.... so our 20 degree days are feeling pretty warm....

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!!!!

Andrew mentioned linking ressies - we have eight people linked together right now, and linking in a few more is no biggie. Another thought... if YOU are on the early dining, what about linking your parents' ressie to yours? That is, of course, as long as you wouldn't get bumped to the later dining!:rotfl: Good luck!pixiedust:

The reservations are linked, but can't have the early dining, I told them to call and find out, I'm gonna call them today and see what the answer was and I will let you know.

Thanks for caring.
PS: Off line for a day or so and you miss a lot. Only 1 more Eastern after this week and the next Eastern is ours.

Norm

Hope you had a :bday: Stacy!

Hi LoveableGluttons! Hope your TA can get you on this cruise. It's our first cruise too and first time in Florida.

Wow! I can't even imagine. We're having unseasonably warm weather here. Yesterday it got up to 80 but today we're in for a cool-down :cold: (the high is only supposed to be 75! :rotfl:)

You realize that's not even close to being funny, right???:sad2:

Seriously. I'm going to stop complaining about the cold.

Really...

no really.

Ah, screw it - I can't. I hate it. I'm going to bed when I get home and not coming out until February 28 when I have to pack for this trip (only 23 jelly beans left...):yay: :yay:

It's actually supposed to be in the high 80's here in sunny southern california! :flower3: The first graders in my class are dressed in shorts and t-shirts--no jackets today! But even though we're not cruising to escape the weather, we ARE looking forward to some much needed rest and relaxation!! :goodvibes

Just wanted to say thanks to all for all the wonderful information. From door signs to pirate night we're all looking froward to it so much.

My DW and I are taking my brother and his family, DW, DN6 & DN4, (disney nephews???) on this cruise and it will be their first crusing experience. The boys can't wait and my sister-in-law says if I buy them one more pirate themed gift she'll make me walk the plank. pirate: But hey what are uncle's for?

I would like to get the boys a gift for their cabin and have seen that The Perfect Gift does a good job, what about the gift packages directly from disney, better/worse?? But then again can there be to many gifts??

Anyone flying out of Settle (Alaska Air) on the morning of March 2nd? If so let me know cause that's where we'll be.

Thanks again everyone can can you beleive only 26 more days:banana:

Yeah! We are confirmed for the second Palo Brunch on Monday March 5th at 10:30am. This is for the 13 people who wanted to be on the list. If you want me to re-post the list, let me know:)

Woohoo!! It's almost vacation time!!

:flower3: I'm sorry. I'm hanging my head in shame.
Seriously though, I feel for you guys. If I lived where there was that kind of weather I would be the biggest complainer, crybaby, whiner, etc...
I lived eight months in Portland, OR and we had one snowstorm. I was so afraid of driving in the snow I called in sick and stayed home for 2 days.

Oh my gosh I am sooo cold. I shouldn't complain. It's only about 4º here in CT. Poor Joshua is upstairs sleeping. He had a great time at the Superbowl party...until around 2:00 am this morning. I just hope if Norm and I get sick it comes real quick. We just don't have the time to get sick now!!! Send pixie dust - FAST.

Hart - I don't have you and your family listed on our sailing list. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll 'hook you up'! :)

I show 109 DIS'ers at the moment. :thumbsup2

Have a great night everyone!

Kim

I feel like I am running a step behind. Being from the Chicago area that is typical for the week (My poor Bears. At least they were made it to Miami).

I have missed the reference to Door Signs and the Perfect Gift. Are people putting up signs and what is the "Perfect Gift"? Appreciate being enlightened. If it is easier to point to earlier posts by date, number, or page, that would be great as well. It is nice to understand the references.

It was -9 when I went to work today so I relate to Connnecticut slightly better than those suffering at 75. This should have waited until our trip then it would be even nicer to get on that plane.

22 days to our plane and 26 to the boat.

Hart
