March 29 - April 5th? Spring Break Trip, Who will be there?

We will be there!!!! This will be our first trip of 2016 to WDW. Our last was over July 4th, 2015 for two glorious weeks! Not getting to stay as long this trip, but still looking very forward to it!

Who will be there will us? We have a split reservation because that's all that was available when I booked it this past weekend. We have a preferred site the first three nights, then a premium for the last 5 nights
Maybe I can get a premium for the whole stay if I keep checking daily.

And what are the crowds like during that week (Typically)?

I bet it is crowded. We have been there during this timeframe a few years now, and it's crowded, but not like Christmas week...not at capacity, just more like summer days, to me anyways...

Yeah, the crowds tend to keep me away. Not that there is not always a crowd, after all it is WDW, but the smaller the better in my book.

We will overlap you just barely. We arrive Saturday March 19 and I have altered my departure date and now we are showing leaving on Wednesday March 30. We have reserved a Preferred as well so I hope we get to say hello before we head out. Looking at the Crowd Calendars, the MK is best on Tuesday and I have penciled in a full day at MK which will be your arrival day. But I hope we can say HI.

As far as crowds that is the week following Easter Sunday (and it looks like you are leaving after the following weekend) which is the 2nd busiest week of the year (after Christmas-New Years week). So expect massive crowds and plan for maximum flexibility.

Look forward to getting down there.

I've been down twice over Spring Break. The first time I said, Never again... The second time I really meant it.

We typically go in the summer where crowds are listed as 8, 9 or 10. Spring Break was much busier than a typical summer week.

Actually, the second time we went with a different attitude. Knowing the crowds will be "10"s, we picked 1 or 2 things each day we really wanted and everything after that was gravy. We hit a lot of the less favorite things and enjoyed the trip quite a bit.

Leading up to Easter the parks will be a zoo. I have never been down over Christmas. I heard it is worse, but Spring Break is #2 or 3.

Hi there! I sure hope we can say Hi! We stay at the fort a few times each year and we love it We actually are DVC members and use most points at the Campground! It's just what we like. We have been coming for about 8 years. I know that's not very long considering some of those folks on here with lots of years experience We also use the points to go to Hawaii in Feb.

Hopefully we can meet, we can keep checking in with each other here and maybe we can make it happen!

Everything on this trip will be "gravy" We just up and decided to go yesterday, and we go often, and we always tell folks, "We do what we can and the rest we will do another time". I guess you have to have that attitude when there are crowds or you will be just miserable bc it will be elbow to elbow.
