Good morning everyone,

I moved our FE List/Cruise Roll Call to a Google Spreadsheet, since it is starting to get pretty large. Please check it and let me know if you have problems accessing it or there are any mistakes/blank entries on it. I put it in Deck Order.

Also, I want to get everyone's thought on the FE.
1. Does everyone want to keep just one FE group?
2. Should we break it into 2 groups?
3. If we split into 2 groups, when should we do it/how large should each group be?

If I am looking at the spreadsheet right, there are currently 22 cabins participating in FE, and I am positive that will grow as we get closer. I would think that if we get very many more we are going to have to split it up. I know we are getting at least one more, as my sister has booked the cruise. I told her to join the DIS and she said she will. She thinks it will be fun. I will get her to post soon, so you can add her.

though if the group votes to keep it one, I am fine with that too.

I love the spreadsheet. Having only participated in one FE exchange before, with a much smaller group, I'm all for breaking up the group. Especially since we still have months to go and I'm sure the group will only get bigger. I would suggest breaking the groups up about 10-12 weeks prior to our sail date. This seems like an ample amount of time to get our gifts squared away.

Looking at other posts it seems like there are no firmly established rules for the exchange (i.e. give each person a gift every night/every other night/only on the first night, etc). Has anyone had experience with any ground rules for the longer cruises?

Hey, guys! Just checked back in after a little while away and WOW! We are growing by leaps and bounds! I agree with you guys, it seems like the FE might get a little full. I am all for breaking it up into a couple of groups as well. It might make it easier for more folks to participate if there were a few smaller groups to gift than one huge one.

Have we set up any guidelines for when we are gifting? On our first Disney cruise, we just gave one gift. What are ya'll's thoughts on that?

However we end up deciding on rules, I'm sure we'll all be glad to spread some Disney magic.

Hello Everyone! We are literally roasting away in this heat wave right now. What I wouldn't give for a drink in a coconut and some ocean waves against my toes. Sigh...must wait until March for that.

There has been a lot of discussion about breaking the FE into smaller groups. Has anyone had experience with that before. I've done numerous FE's, but we've always kept it as one group (some rather large- and I wish they would have split). I'll take any advice and suggestions on what the size cutoff should be. I've seen on other threads to cut off at 20-25 rooms, but some have gone to 30.
What would everyone like?

Also, it's usually just kept up to the gift giver if they want to do 1 gift per person or 1 gift per stateroom. Personally, either way works for me. I'm happy leaving that up to the gift giver's discretion.

We just found a great Disney related item that is perfect for the fish extender, we we able to get 35 of them, so I am hoping our group doesn't go over 35, but if so, we will work around it.

Also, as another suggestion, we may want to break the cruise into segments or days, having some people give their gift on Saturday/Sunday, Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/thursday or something similar. This would help make sure everyone got something everyday, and not all on one day.

Havnt checked the countdown lately, but November (When we can book our excursions) seems to be getting closer and closer.

We just decided to book this cruise! It will be our 4th DCL cruise, and the 1st one that we've done without the kids!
So excited to get to know everyone, and we are DEFINITELY in for FE!
