I am officially onboard now in cabin 10045!

This is my first time cruising solo, so I'm hoping someone will adopt me for their dinner table.

Hi, glad you are booked with us, as we get closer I will be doing linked dining for anyone that would like to sit together. I think its a tad early to start the list now. No fear, we will get that wish taken care of

Does anyone have a limo or bus service they can recomend? I have never used any of them before and I have no idea whom to book with. but very intrested!

And yes we would love to meet before the cruise, now that we have ruled out the Radison

We will be staying at the Boardwalk and taking our rental car to the port on Saturday morning.

We are also at Boardwalk, arriving on the 18th.

The cruise leaves on Thursday .......this is now engraved into my mind as when I was making the reservation for Boardwalk, I kept saying "I only need Sunday, Monday and Tuesday." The nice DVC Rep jokingly asked me if I'd be sleeping on benches on the Boardwalk the final night. I said "No, I'll be in my cabin on the ship." He laughed and said "Not until Thursday".

Flo - yep, gonna lose it bunches of times over the next two weeks. She already looks more grown up than she did last week. And you are right. I'm so very proud of her. She is a great daughter.

Mary - would love to do a pre-cruise meet. We have never done one before so it would be fun to meet everyone before we meet on the cruise.

Group pictures are always great. We enjoy them. I think Michael, Monika's husband, might have arranged for that last year on the members cruise. We all had to chip in to cover the cost of the sitting fee I believe. Is that right Monika? That was a fun shot with Mickey on Pirate Night.

As for transportation, again not sure but would be interested in the mini bus/shared ride option. What a fun way to start the cruise all getting there together.

Unfortunately, the Radisson has changed their policy and the shuttle is no longer free. I've heard they've upped their room prices as well.

Hello DIS Friends!!!

I've been MIA lately due to DD's dance recital/play. Rehearsals every night last week - Thursday and Friday we did not get home until almost 10pm.

We had a marathon day Saturday with two shows (11:30 & 6:30). The day started with her hair and makeup appt at 8:30 am and ended at midnight after a brief trip to Applebee's for appetizers after we cleaned up from the show. DD had a GREAT time!!! I worked in her dressing room for both shows so I did not actually get to see the entire performance of all the dancers. I can't wait to see the DVD.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Chris - Best wishes getting through these next few weeks. Make sure you stock up on the tissues and use the water proof mascara from here on out.

I have no idea where my DBFF and I will be staying before/after the cruise. She works on an exchange in NYC and we may not be able to book rooms until we get closer to the trip. She is limited on who can cover her work when she is away so I am not sure how many extra days we will be able to book.

If we are there in advance, a pre-cruise meet sounds like fun. I will not be taking DCL transportation to the port anymore either. When we used it for the SSMC09 I thought we got there so late and I felt like I was rushing around all night. That was our first cruise too so I had no idea what I was doing which added to the running around and confusion. I am looking forward to this cruise which will be 'CHILD FREE' for me. I can not begin to express the sheer joy of being able to take an adult vacation. It can not come soon enough.

Congrats! We'd love to have you join the cruise! The more the merrier.

Booking onboard will get you an onboard credit. I know that since we booked our price went up about $1000. Not sure if prices will go up more between now and August.
