March 22, 2012 Dream SSMC Reunion AKA "It's all Gary's Fault" Cruise

We're booked for 4 nights at Boardwalk. Might change that at the 7 month mark but at least for now we have a room.

Hi Dan- yes Mark and I are doing Alaska in early July. Getting excited.

Chris - you guys were charged a sitting fee? That must be something new.

Mary - That's GREAT that you and Mark have your rooms booked! You also must be sooooo excited for your Alaska cruise. Can you believe how fast time has flown by. I can remember when several of you were booking the cruises. Wish I were going with you.

Hey everyone... wow what a fun, active group I am Amy, mom to 2 dd's 9 and 11. We did B2B Dream cruise in April and are completely obsessed with it! Hubby doesn't cruise with us.(vertigo issues) I have this cruise booked AND a Fantasy Eastern Nov 2012, can only do one, but hoping it is this one. We do a girls only trip to WDW every November.... but skipped 2010 as my mom passed away. I missed WDW so much that even though we were going on the Dream in April 2011, I used some of the money from the sale of her house and booked a WDW Nov 2011 trip. I rent DVC points.... girls are wishing now that we were doing another cruise instead of going to WDW. I do know they will enjoy WDW when we get there. So we will see if Daddy lets us move our yearly trip to April(we really enjoyed having something to look forward to all winter). He knows we have both cruises booked, we just haven't quite asked if we are allowed to go. Looking forward to meeting all of you. Any DREAM questions, feel free to ask.

Hey Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend.

Dianne - congrats on getting SSR booked before the cruise.

We are so busy with graduation planning that I'm getting greyer (sp) by the moment. Between yesterday and today, me and my mom browned up 26 lbs of taco meat for next weekend. We are having a walking taco bar for Becca's graduation party. And instead of cake, Becca wanted my Aunt's sugar cookies. So she is making cookies instead of cake for her party. Plus we have been going to other parties all weekend long. And trying to clean and do laundry and get the garage ready for her party. Plussssssssss, today was our youngest daughter's birthday, 15, and tomorrow is our oldest daughter's birthday, 18. So, I'm ready for this month to be over.

I just keep looking forward to this cruise. I can't wait. I love, love, love to cruise. I think it has become my favorite type of vacation. So I just keep dreaming of the dream vacation we will have with all of you.

Chris - 26 POUNDS!?!?! Now that's a lot of tacos. My guess is by the time this party is over you will not want to see, taste, or smell tacos.
Sounds like you all are having a great time both getting ready for your party and celebrating at other parties.

Last night was her last music awards night and her choral director made me cry. She got the highest honored award for singing last night that the school gives. Yay, Becca!

Gary Day is Friday. Just like this cruise is all Gary's fault. It started in the Facebook group when Gary was always posting "Is it Friday yet". So one Friday someone said "hey Gary its your day" and it just stuck.

I finally got some free time and was able to update the website! I know some of you sent me updates a while ago and I apologize for how long it took. Please take a minute to look it over and let me know if anything needs to be fixed. If you haven't sent in your info there is still plenty of time.

I've put in updates from Monika, Ray, David, Chris, Dianne, Kathy, and Lisa.

I've also added some pictures for some of the cruisers from our last gallery. If any of those want an updated picture just let me know.

I often spoke with her and when I had not seen her figured that she just got busy with something. For a couple of months I periodically have been asking on there if anyone has seen her.

After doing a search, this thread and the post above appear to be her last. If anyone knows for sure, please just let me know if she is ok. Once again, sorry to break into your thread. Best wishes.

We've been worried about her too, but I know she has a lot going on in her life right now. She posted back on May 4th on Facebook and at that time things seemed fine as she was posting about her son winning a golf tournament.

I vote to keep it fish extenders, just less confusing.

And I am so excited, I have come up with something really special, for the fish extenders. Made a test one today..it turned out so good. I am going into production...I can not wait to share them with you!

I agree with Dianne - calling them Fish Extenders can now be a more generic term. Like asking for a Kleenex even though the person may have a box of Puffs on their desk.

Hope everyone is safe from the storms that blew through. Minnesota and Missouri really got hit bad.
