I'm in the bowels right there with you. :)

We too are doing the dophins in Cozumel that we did on our own.

Hi to all,

We just booked on Friday, but it took me a few days to find this site and the rollcall. It's our 11th cruise - 3rd with Disney- and our 1st 7day with Disney. We live in Bradenton, Fl., so we're not too far away from the port.
My husband and I are traveling with our 15 year old daughter and 7 year old son. We are in cabins 1071 and 1073 - inside connecting. This is our first experience with an inside cabin, but we decided it would be worth it as we've seen the ports before and we really need the extra space (again traveling with our 15 year old daughter - who brings EVERYTHING- if you looked, you might even find the kitchen sink.) Her only limitation is that she has to be able to push, pull, or otherwise strap it to her body. LOL.
I didn't remember that this site existed - have tripped across it in years before for info when going to WDW, but this is a first for the cruise. We have always chatted on cruisecritic (probably not cool to mention), but this site is pretty much set up the same. Anyway, I wondered why their roll call was a bit slow  : - DUH! you are all here.

Welcome, and glad to see you joined us. BTW I noticed the same thing on the other site.

Welcome debsite. Glad to see someone lower in the bowels of the ship than us.:rotfl2:
Enjoyed your post about Key West on that other board(cruisecritic).
Key West is one of my favorite places to go. This will be our third time by boat.:goodvibes Plus a few other times.:rolleyes1

Just found this on the main thread>>>>http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2063837
It is a list of the menus!
Are we sailing yet?

OK. How many of us are from Illinois and Indiana -??? I am so done with this winter. Can we go tomorrow??? dd 17 is so ready for her 7th DCL cruise She loves to cruise - this is her 12th cruise!!

Not to far (Aurora) - we live in Lake in the Hills/Crystal Lake.

I did it - pulled the shorts out yesterday. I know, too early, but I needed some inspiration.pixiedust:

Thanks for the welcome! We are very excitedly planning and searching some of the lists. It's our 3rd DCL cruise and our 11th cruise overall. Iloveokw - I think I recognize your name from that other board, too. Your daughter and my daughter would have a lot to talk about - mine is 15 and this will be her 10th cruise. She is valiantly striving to keep up with your daughter and faithfully starts whining as soon as summer is over that it has been tooooooo long since her last cruise - spoiled child.
BobandLee - glad to know someone actually read that post - especially since I accidentally wiped it out the first time when I was looking up the final address to put in - ARGHHHHHH!!!!! Thanks for that crack about the bowels of the ship---Ha!Ha! It'll be worth it as soon as I see what my daughter has packed.

It's supposed to be a sunny 78 here in Bradenton, today. Was a bit nippy overnight in the 50's. Don't start throwing snowballs -just think of it as good weather for the cruise. LOL! I'm sorry- I was born in Dayton, OH., and I do NOT miss the cold - last week was frigid for me at 30 degrees, here, especially when I scraped the ice off my car windows after work last Thursday morning - with my name badge!

O.K., there are 4 of us here from Indiana.

Not throwing snowballs here.
I don't mind the snow. We are supposed to get 3-5" tonight.
It is the cold I can do without.
My theory about living in the northern climes is that the cold weather makes you appreciate the tropical trips all the more.

Not packing yet. A few more weeks for that.
All the planning is done. I hope.

Does Ohio count? We are in northwest Ohio only about 20 miles from the Indiana border.
BTW, who ordered this gosh foresaken snow? Enough already.

momfromva - is the grandparents cabin near yours? The only viewing of the wave goodbye is on starboard. If you are out on the veranda you will hear the horn. You can also take the boys to the secret deck on deck 7. The sail-away party can get very loud, that's why deck 10 is my choice this year.

Thanks, Tinkbellfan! Yes, their cabin is just across from ours on the starboard side. Phew! I'm glad I'll hear the horn. I guess it would have to be pretty loud. Gosh, I'm getting teary eyed just imagining it!

We live outside of Washington, DC. We got a few inches of snow yesterday and ice last night. The older I get, the more I hate the winter!

Heck, after this winter we are having now in Chicago, I would take the Washington DC winter any day. I went to college in DC and spent a year of high school out there too (was a page for Congress). I would always laugh because the whole city shuts down for like an inch of snow.

And heck, I'll throw a snowball at our person from FL. I had to lmao when you said that 50's was chilly. Heck, at 50 degree weather, my kids wear shorts and are starting to ask when we can open the pool! Speaking of my pool, I can't even see it in my back yard. The snow drifts are so high that my 24 foot round pool that is 5 feet high can not be seen at all. Great! And one of the high winds did something to the power for my hot tub, and it is now an ice tub. Another great! Have to wait until things thaw to deal with that. At the rate we are looking, I ought to be able to look at this come May!

Only 51 more sleeps til we get to leave for FL! How is everyone getting to the port? We are staying the night before at the Hyatt MCO and are trying to figure out what to do. We would totally be taking Disney transport, but it bugs me that they want to charge for my 9 month old. He will be in our LAPS, not taking any room. Why do we have to pay for him?

We are flying down the night before, rented a car, and staying at Pop Century.

We had Disney Transportation on the way back but cancelled it and taking a rental car back. Our flight isn't until 7:30 p.m. so I thought we would kill some time at Downtown Disney.

We too are flying down the day before and are staying at the Hyatt MCO. We hace DCL transfers to and from the port.

We are a large party (8 total) that is staying at the VWL for three days before the cruise. We have always used a towncar service (Tiffany's) back and forth to the resort, port and airport. I like having my own transportation and timing and the ME charges to the port would be almost the same as getting a van to take us. You also don't have to rush (as much) off the boat at the end of the cruise.

My husband, 7 year old son (will be 8 in May) and myself are from Woodstock, IL and are sick and tired of snow and cold and are ready for the cruise.

Nothing has changed. We still shut down at the mere mention of snow. Yesterday, the local news channels extended their broadcasts due to "Winter Storm 2009". Do people in Chicago run out for milk and toilet paper before it snows too? :confused3

As of today, we are planning to drive down and stay at the Radisson in Port canaveral the night before we leave. I have been watching the air fares drop so we may fly down. If we do, I was thinking about staying at the Hyatt at MCO the night before and taking the disney transfers both ways.

My boys and I made a paper chain to count down the days until we leave. It is so long! I hope the remainder of the days go by quickly.
