March 2010 Trips

I'm going March 10 - 13th with my fiancee. Its our first trip to Disneyland. Nervous and excited let the countdown begin!!

yay! We've begun our countdown. We've been doing Disney movies on our Friday night movie night for 3 weeks now. But tonight I gave the first pre-Disney gift, a Buzz and Woodie jacket for my 6 year old son, and a Tinkerbell and Fairies jacket for my 4 year old daughter, both were from the disneyoutlet store and on sale. I wrapped them in different colored tissue paper and then printed off a multicolored Disney logo and taped it with a chocolate kiss to the wrapped gift. And at bed they Xed out the day on our Countdown to Disney calendar.

Yes! I finally made it to under 30 days! I think getting thru this month will be smooth sailing and the we'll be off! So excited, but still have so many things to do to get ready! Oh and I finally finished my LGMH! I will be looking for other ones while im in the park! yay!

My DD16 and I will be there with her cheer team March 25-30 for Nationals! I believe we are at the Fairfield Inn. We have 4 day hopper passes

My mom and I will also be there for Cheer Nationals. :] Just going to be a mommy and me trip this time.

Countdown, 5 weeks to go

I gave the kids their own waterbottles for Disney, a princess one for my 4 yr daughter, and a cars one for my 6 yr son. And we're about to start Lilo and Stitch (which I've never seen since I didn't have young children at the appropriate time to see it in the theater).

(water bottles WAY overshadowed by valentines gift from the grandparents -- Zhu zhu hamsters or whatever they are).

Bought some tshirts from joanns (5 for $10) and have some iron on transfer printer paper ready to go. I also bought the fleece to do our GAD blankets for Linus project, and I have a quilt top donated from a friend that I'm going to machine quilt.

Disneyland preparations are SUCH a nice break from law school!

I also got a pin coupon from Disney (though we aren't staying at DLR this time) that we can use on our May trip (we are going to upgrade our GAD to PH then to DAP).

Im getting so excited now! only 22 days left, It was over 100 when I first started planning! Cant wait to be there!

With the relatives for the first and tagging along on hubby's bus. trip for the second.

We will be there the 20th till the 25th, we are driving from Oregon, leaving on the 19th.. this is my husband 1st time ever to disnelyand (he's never been anywhere) and we are not telling our kids who are 11 and 9 till we are in the car that morning... WOOHOO

And here I was thinking that my 12 hour car ride was going to be long! Make sure you bring lots of snacks and movies if possible! Have fun! we'll just miss each other!

lol I am sure it will be an adventure.. yes we will have lots of movies, the kids will have there DSi's, and ipods, plus whatever smaller stuff I find for them!

I asked the kid if she was getting excited yet since we have just over a month left to go. Her response "No, it doesn't feel real yet. It won't feel real until we pack the car." lol How much more real can it get? I already have the tickets. I gave her Disney Dolllars to spend. I've already paid for one of the hotels. We've already invited two fo her friends and made dinner reservations. lol Dork. She's just not an excitable child. lol

Hi there,
we are headed to DL on the 25th we are staying at the HOJO for 2 nights, we were going to go the first week of April but thought it wasnt a good idea with kids being off school, so DH has got some time off work for then.
so excited, i think DH is sick of me talking about it LOL
my kids are 5 and 2.5 and are very excited too!!
