So far i have made ressies for Bomas, 6:10 pm, on march 3rd.
I am a huge disney nut, but this will be dh first time there. when i go with mom, we usualy only do counter service. we just wanna see all the characters and go on the fun rides! this is a more romantic and relaxing trip for us. so is there any must eats or must dos for dh first trip?
TIA
Well, there are many things you can do as a couple that are fun and romantic!
If you're at Pop, then enjoy a leisurely stroll around the property...it's a neat place.
You could grab a meal at one of the Signature restaurants. They are a bit pricey, but worth it IMO for a special meal. DH and I really enjoy Flying Fish at the Boardwalk. This March trip I chose Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian and timed it so we can be there during the fireworks (don't think music from Wishes is piped in though). We've never tried this one before, but a CM (who trains folks at WDW) highly recommended it. DH and I are sneaking down in January for a trip without DS, so I managed to get an ADR at California Grill during the fireworks. They do pipe in the music from Wishes and it's really nice! Jiko in Animal Kingdom is great...5 Diamond rating from the
AAA.
Non Signature Restaurant locations that I think would be good for an adults only meal...Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary is suppose to be really good and it will be closing in May for good. San Angel in Mexico/Epcot is a cozy place...nice and dark with good food. Le Cellier, Canada/Epcot has some of the best steak on property and is a nice place. Chefs de France in Epcot is another good choice.
I could probably list several more since we always try to eat some place different on each trip and only repeat the absolute favs.
For non food things to do...
Be sure to have your photo taken together...the PhotoPass photographers are pretty willing to take photos using your camera as well as theirs. If you've got a Disney Visa, do the character meet and greet in Epcot. DH & I did that in 2005 without DS and I got the best photo of him dancing with Minnie.
Enjoy walking through the parks holding hands...DH & I never get to do that when DS is with us because he likes to walk next to one of us so it's hard to manage walking 3 abroad.
Be big kids! Ride the carousel with your knight in shining armor or any of the attractions!
Have some fun at the Comedy Warehouse or the Adventurer's Club or one of the other Pl dance clubs if you're into dancing. DH LOVES the Adventurer's Club so it's one of the places we are looking forward to going these next 2 trips without DS. (We took DS once when he was 11 1/2, but he got bored quickly so we couldn't stay long and that was okay because the later the evening gets the more adult the entertainment gets. Don't worry! It's Disney so nothing really raunchy happens.)
If you're up for a real treat go to Saratoga Springs Spa and get a massage together. The facilities are excellent! I treated DH to one the last trip he went and now he asks for one each trip. (I've created a monster.)

For our January trip, I was trying to figure out where to eat and gave DH his options of places we hadn't eaten yet. When I said Akershus, but it's a Princess Dinner, he got giggly and said, "That is where I want to eat...with the princesses!" So, we are eating there without kids. I know DH will be silly and fawn over the princesses...he's a theater person...and I'm hoping that I can manage a photo of him with ALL the princesses at once...gonna be hard though.
Well, that is some suggestions. I'm sure there are others, but that is what came to mind first.
