We're taking friends with us from NY and have promised AP discount rooms at the Poly in March...these codes better get here soon!

Anyone know of a site the gets the word out faster than Mousesavers? I don't want to miss out waiting if there's another site who gets the alerts online quicker...

Just got a AAA rate at All Star Sports for Mar, Fri and Sat nights. It bumped price from $159 to $126 per night. Its still pricey, but every little bit helps. You have to have your AAA membership# to get the discount. Hopefully when AP rates come out, it will be even better. Just thought I would share in hopes it can help someone else.

What's the history with AP discounts around Easter? Unfortunately, our spring break starts on Mar. 21st, I'm sure crowds will be lovely . Hoping for enough of a discount for a monorail resort.

AP discounts have been blacked out the week before and week after Easter for the past 2 years. I would be prepared to not see any discounts during this timeframe. Good luck.

Hi, we will be in WDW 3/2/08 - 3/8/08, i've been glued to this computer for the last couple weeks since booking our flights looking for good deals. I too am keeping my fingers crossed that new codes will come out soon! Here's to searching!!

No one has heard any "rumors" from any castmembers when you have called?

I know that when we were waiting for codes this past October, there were handfuls of people who had called and been told by CM's to "try back in a couple days" or "not now but I would try again next Friday"

I called late last week to ask about something else, but I made a point to ask the CM if he'd heard of any codes coming out for the time I was interested in (late February) and he said to start checking the internet after the new year started. He said they were putting together what the newest offering would be.

Now, he totally could have been blowing smoke up my skirt. But - believe me - I am sure "checking the internet".

Throughout the year, Disney puts out a certain number of rooms, usually for your basic, "standard view" rooms, at a discount to fill units that typically wouldn't sell. There are different 3-letter "codes" that they attach to each discount (FL resident, AP holder discount, etc.) to distinguish the % and type that is being used. If you have an existing reservation, and the room type is the same that is being discounted, and they still have rooms available under the code, then yes, they will apply the code to your reservation. Since they only offer a limited number of rooms that are discounted, they can sometimes go pretty fast. That's why so many people stake out these threads and sites like Mousesavers.

I read on another board that there are new AP discounts. I can not confirm this, but wanted to share the info I read. The AP code is FIC and the dates are 2/14 -3/6/08. Please post back if this is correct.

Well that's great news! Here's hoping they release some discount codes for the rest of the month soon!!!
