The only Disney Visa discount I saw recently was the one that came via e-mail but didn't go as far as March dates. I have the Disney Visa, where can I find the deal that you got? Thanks

Ended up cancelling our original reservation at POFQ with the AAA rate, and ended up saving over $600 on our vacation by booking the discount package for Canadians...

Only difference is we had to book at POR instead of FQ...oh well, I will stay there to save that kind of money.

Can't use the Disney Visa....need a room only discount. I've used my DVC discount, but was hoping for something better. Any ideas?

So in the past, have they blacked out the whole week(starting 1 Sunday prior to)before Easter AND the whole week after Easter?

We may be changing our plans for spring break if so then.

I thought the VISA deal was only good through March 14? Or am I confusing the AP rates with the VISA? Off to check the rewards site yet again.

Yes. Each year the blackout time gets bigger and bigger. A few years ago it started the Wednesday before Good Friday and went until the Saturday after Easter Sunday. Last year it was the week before and week after. With the new daily rates, the best anyone could do is maybe a discounted day or two prior to the beginning of the blackouts. With the new rate system of making the rooms more expensive on the holidays, I would be scared to see what the price of the rooms are for the actual holiday.

Arriving the day before Easter and staying through the following Saturday. Hoping for a discount for the period following the holiday. Having read futher into the thread, my hopes have dimmed somewhat -- but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I called Disney DVC stating I was not inviting my sister to our OKW unit because she was only there for 2 of our 7 nights and I did not want to buy a meal plan for 3 extras guests visiting two nights- it registered absolutely no response.....

I asked her if they had FL resident discounts for those two nights and she said not at this time. They are only listing FL resident Discounts of $99 a night at POR/standard view thru mid February.

No word on March discounts yet....there was not alot of assistance and they were not jumping up to assist this DVC member (snd stockholder). I was a bit perturbed.
