Hi there. This is our first trip to WDW and we are already booked into POR for 8 nights at the first of March. I was wondering about these codes that you are all talking about. How do you receive them? Can you use them if you have already book? Do they usually give them out for the first of March?

Our last year to Disney I believe My oldest is now 18 (what'sup with the additional $25 fee charged to your room per night when your kid turns 18????). Yeah, I realize he is, for all intents and purposes an "adult" but this "adult" ain't footin' the bill for this trip!
I guess I just don't get why Disney NEEDS to charge $25 more $$ per night when it's the same resort and same room we've ALWAYS stayed in (this is our 7th trip) ... and he's not taking up any extra "space".
Okay ... I'm done complaining!
Hopefully I'll get an AP discount code so it will all be better!

Just wanted to say I feel for you. Things are expensive enough without adding extra expense just for the sake of the "we do it because we can" factor. Hope you have a great trip though!


Also, I was wondering about the AAA discounts. It seems like sometimes people who book with AAA miss out on other discounts. What's your guys' opinion on AAA vs hoping for a code?

We're probably looking at march of 2009. Our spring break is the last full week in March and easter in 2009 isn't until april 12th. I'm hoping that will mean slightly thinner crowds.

I just booked Mar. 9-13th at DVC split stay BCV and OKW. I've waitlisted for BCV for my current OKW stay. BCV is my favourite DVC resort. Wish me luck!

Funny it had just occurred to me that I hadn't booked the Spring Break stay, and I love to go to FL in March. Now lets hope all my other ducks line up: airfare, and time off at work.

I also want to fly in on the weekend so I'm really looking for March 8-9th stay with a code. Here's hoping something comes up before the airfares do!

Hi..the codes that everyone keeps referring to are discount codes that come out occasionally that can be applied to your existing reservation to lower your room rate at certain Disney resorts. To read more about this, check on Mousesavers.com and look over on the right side in the yellow at the discounts. Some discounts apply if you have an annual pass, some if you live in Florida or Canada, and some are available to the general public. They come out and will be for certain time periods(dates), and usually for a certain amount off the dollar amount of the rate at each type of resort. The mousesavers site explains it all. Even if you have a trip booked, you should be able to apply the discount to your room rate, or ask your travel agent to do so for you. Hope this helps. Just ask if you have other questions! I imagine a lot of people are going to be calling today to see if they can use this for their Disney stay in 2008.

I called today regarding the three letter code that was listed above to see if it was available and told it was a pin-only code. I asked if I had a pin next to my name - YES - I do have a pin-only code next to my name. I would have never known about it since I did not receive any email or snail mail postcard with the information. It was not for this offer though.

It was something different and hopefully it will become available for others.

The special was valid from January 1-March 15, 2008. Unfortunately, since I didn't get a hard copy of the promo I really don't know much more. I do know that the resort I would want to visit wasn't available (Cabins at Fort Wilderness). The cast member did state that dining was not available as the free upgrade option though.

I am posting so that people might be hopeful that this may mean that a public code might be coming out.

Ok...so.... I was looking over my ressie that disney emailed to me and I have a 3 letter code next to the resort name. Is this the code that could get me discounts providing that they are offered during my stay...... which is 3/9-3/14/08. Would I have to call disney to find out if I have a pin related to my name? Thanks!
