I think I'm driving my DM nuts as well. As I picked out my wedding dress today, I kept saying, "you know, this is just like something Cinderella would wear". She just rolls her eyes at me! Only 15 days and counting...can't wait!!

It's May of next year. We are actually considering having it at Disney! DM and I plan on scoping out GF during our trip!

I'm sure you're right. Come to think of it, the last time (not the trip w/ this lady but since then) I went to our local DisneyStore, I mentioned to the CM checking me out that I was staying at Pop Century in March. He made some comment about how nice it was. I told him I had been there before but apparently he didn't hear me b/c he proceeded to give me many details, including how nice the bar was & exactly where it was located. I thought it was funny that he thought I needed to know that!

Depending on your wedding size...we did an intimate wedding, less $$, then had everyone meet for cocktails and hordevours SP? then the Luau show (now spirit of aloha) so the luau was our meal part of it w/entertainement. We had lots of kids attend,.Not that this is for everyone...we still spent alot on extras..but was magical and my kids felt like it was their special day too!

GF is fabulous!! Wherever you get married, you can always have your honeymoon at Disney!!!

Does anyone know what weeks in march the cheerleaders will be there? I'm assuming mid-march but i could be wrong (it's been known to happen rarely)

I have read that they will be there the first weekend of March and the last day is March 4th. Then they will be back the 9th. Not sure of anything else. I should go and try to find the link to where I got that info. I'll look, and see.

There are four special events scheduled in March, including two cheer/dance competitions:

Cheer & Dance National Championships, March 2 - 4;

ESPN: The Weekend, March 2 - 4;

National Kidney Foundation 5K, March 3;

National All Star Cheerleading Championship, March 9 - 11.

It looks like your trip will coincide with the latter.

I think that is hilarious...I have tried to stay away from the Disney Store so I have some money left for the World. But I was there a few months ago and there was a woman in there with her son. She said - very loudly - "We're only going to look today because we're leaving next week for DISNEYWORLD" as if she wanted everyone there to know that. I thought it was so funny & wondered if I had ever said something like that before a trip to my son.

LOL- There was a woman in my Disney Store today saying the same thing loudly! Does this woman travel the country saying this in different stores? OR does Disney hire her and the children to drum up "WDW trip envy"? Hmmmmmm?
I was there ALONE- no kids! --a wonderful thing! I got to browse and shop the clearances and check out the new stuff w/ no nagging! But..........I didn't have anyone to say to loudly, "No you can't have that because WE ARE GOING TO WDW IN 2 WEEKS!

I bought all clearance stuff and came home w/ $216.50 worth of stuff that I paid only $68 for!!! Plenty of things to surprise the kids with on our trip for a fraction of what I would have spent in the parks!

Sorry, I'm bubbling over here...........I'll shut up now.

It's hard to miss, really. You walk through the entrance facing the pool & its on your right. Hey, we paid it a few visits last year & it was not bad! We had a few problems during our Sept. trip (stolen camera, delayed luggage, etc etc) and when my DH came in our room w/ a yummy margarita I was feeling better!

I'm totally with you!!! i leave in 16 days and have nothing ready yet! so unlike me! i'm normally packed and ready to go by 20 days left!
I still gotta do some shopping !! 16 days is gonna come fast!
And i too am on the boards! its like an addiction! every time i am near a computer i think to myself... hmmm wonder if anyone responded to my post... i'll just take a quick look... then that quick look turns into hours!!! lol

I've been packing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent the morning digging out the summer clothing from the attic storage. Packing for FL in March is tricky. You have to plan for warmer days with cooler nights. So shorts and tees plus sweaters or hoodies and maybe even some long pants.

Who is planning on swimming down there? I don't know. Historical highs for Orlando in March is around 77-78. I'll probably pack one bathing suit for each of us, just in case.

Planning on going to my Disney Store tomorrow and getting DD6 just one more tee shirt so she can have a different one for each day.

Gotta sew some new buttons on her Cinderella sweater.-- Pack my pre-bought souvenirs so the kids won't find them-- Pack my back pack for taking to the parks...and and and....

.............and so much more to do! You are right, rzeta94, I've gotta get off these boards and start checking things off of my to-do list!!!!!!

BTW- I tied a lime green ribbon on to my back pack- say "hi" if you see me!

Got my LGMH the other day. I'm going to make some sort of sign to hang in our window at POP, so if you see me walking out of there, say hello!

I bought new shorts/tank tops/and flip flops the other day too. Now, I just have to put everything in a suitcase.

I don't know about other Disney stores, but the one at my mall had HARDLY any adult clothes, what a disappointment. However, I must give myself some for getting two adult sized Disney sweatshirts for less then $20!! How I LOVE the clearance rack!

Only 2 weeks left. I'm hoping that everything goes smoothly both weather and flight wise!
