Crazymomof4.... We arrive March 2 at POP, me, my mom and DD10!! Last minute, surprise b day trip for DD!!! See you there!

I'm hoping we hit a "lull" in the crowds, between Pres. Day wkend and Spring breakers (mid-March)!

I don't know if this is outdated, but I will be wearing my lime green ribbon to identify myself as a DIS member. This was popular here a few years ago, not sure if many still do this or not (???)

I am hoping the same thing!! Some dis er's I read get the Mickey Lime Green paint color sample from Home Depot and attach it to their everyday bag? Perhaps laminate it, or not, punch a hole, ribbon...all set. And some place them in the windows at Pop..I have done alot of reading! Let's hope for great weather and not so great crowds !!

I love the window idea! Hadn't heard of that!!!!! I'll have to check my Home Depot for lime green mickeys. Often that is the only color that is empty when we are there. I say to DH, "The DISers have been here!"

I would say "hello" and would like someone to do the same, if they notice "the lime" on me. Although, I've worn the lime green ribbons through 2 long WDW trips and never ran into another DISer except for a pre-arranged meeting with someone.....it's a big place!

We, here on the DIS are the only ones who understand each other's fascination with all things Disney and the planning aspect of a WDW vacation. When I mention the DIS to friends and family I get the impression that they think it's strange. Of course these same people love hearing my "tips" when they are getting ready to go to WDW!

i'm not sure if you'll catch a lull.... that happens to be ESPN weekend and i hear it's pretty busy.... can anyone confirm that??

I actually heard the opposite. That even though its ESPN weekend, it primarily takes place in MGM and the the crowds tend to stick around over there, and leave less wait times for rides.

Anyway, i'll be there March 1-5th! I'll be wearing my bag on my back with lime mouse ears attached!

I will be there March 4th-8th, staying at CBR. I can't wait. After that it is 5 days down in West Palm Beach visiting family. I hope the weather is good!

I'll be in WDW at that time, and i'll be coming from W. Palm Beach! lol

There are 6 conventions going on the last week of Feb thru the first week of March, plus ESPN.

Do not think we will have the place to ourselves. Hopefully, it will feel festive, but not crowded. Parks are open rather late for the 1st week of March. Last time we were there the same days, MK closed at 6/7 every night.

Definitely say hello if you see a Lime Green Mickey or ribbon!!

I always gage the expectation of crowds on the park closing times too. I noticed that things seem to change on our last day (9th). Parks open later, Fantasmic shown twice, etc. So I hope this means less crowds for most of our week. (??) We'll see. At any rate, this is a laid back, just enjoy ourselves, very non-commando style visit. So we will be happy to hit the things on our "must-do" list and just enjoy ourselves! Fast-pass helps a lot too!

Us too, I am prepared to just enjoy ! With my mom at age 60 and her first time, and my DD...it will hopefully be about the little moments other than how many rides and how many times!! OOps...mom is 69!

I have read that cheerleading is going on the first weekend of March, but will be over on the 4th. The rest of the week, last I read was open, nothing scheduled. And then the 9th was more cheerleading, I beleive??

That's what I heard. We're doing all of our stuff during the week and then the P&P party on Friday (March 8th). So, I'm hoping that we get in before the cheerleading and Spring Break crowds. That would be nice!

Only 17 more days to go! Hooray!

My computer didn't freeze, but the color that printed isn't what I expected. It isn't as limey as I'd like. I have a fairly nice printer, designed for photos, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
