it finally feels like we are ready to go. I hope that it warms up a bit but we are taking jackets just to be prepared. we have allen set up for parasailing at castaway cay and we all have our ressie for a palo brunch.

Hello, All. Still thinking warm thoughts (and packing a jacket. darn).

I moved us to the Cozumel Dolphin Discovery at 9:45. Thanks for all who let me know it opened up and hopefully we will see you at the same time. Anyone else take that spot? I also want to enjoy the park after the swim.

Hi Angela - we also moved to the 9:45 Dolphin Discovery time - so we will see you there! We plan on staying after and enjoying the park, too.

We have started packing and checking the lists...double checking, that is. I am shipping out our box of FE gifts and misc stuff today!

Wow all the packing and planning seems so real now. So excited!!

Just so everyone knows, my DS3 was diagnosed last May with autism and then later with Fragile X syndrome (in short- a genetic disorder to the x chromosome that causes delays). I just find it easier sometimes to let people know ahead of time, that way when you meet him you don't have to be curious as to what is wrong and be too uncomfortable to ask. He is still nonverbal, so he uses some sign but it is very limited. He is a sweet boy with a big heart, and we love him just the same. Plus he is a real Mickey Mouse nut!!!

Now on with the packing and planning. Since we are almost a week away, I have to stop procrastinating!

The FE is a gift exchange so named because of a fish style clothing hook on the outside of your state room adjacent to your door. We have several famlies participating but we had a cut off date in mid Feb. Although I am not in charge of this or anything but I thought I would respond to your question.

We always carry on loads of bottled water, bottles of Pepsi and a few six packs of beer. We drive to the port so flying isn't an issue with liquids. I have my carry on suitcase on wheels full of this stuff. I've seen people walk on the ship with cases of beer and water too. Disney doesn't seem to care.

Well, we did most of our packing this weekend! Getting a bit stressed, lol. We leave Fri. evening for Philadelphia. My DH is treating us to dinner at Fago de Chao! Never been there but it's supposed to be a real treat Safe travels everyone!

See you real soon. My daughter arrives today from Las Vegas so our vacation sort of starts when she gets here. Then it's a few days at WDW before heading to the ship Saturday morning. I can't wait to meet a fellow cast member.

Unfortunately, DH and I have been experiencing some unexpected difficulties. While we still will be able to go next week, we will be unable to participate in the FE exchange as we had originally hoped to.
