Hey AbsyBabsy,
I was just getting caught up on a bunch of the posts and found out about your daughter's foot surgery -- hope it is healing well!

We will be in the foot injury section of the ship -- my daughter broke her foot about 4 weeks ago (she got stepped on by a horse, and broke a bone as she tried to twist out from under the hoof). She was in a boot for a while and then has been in a cast the last 2 weeks. We were at the orthopaedist today and it is healing well but they changed out her cast and she will be in it until March 10. By the time of the cruise she should be in a walking boot (and maybe out of it at times if she is in the weaning stage) but will be able to take it off to swim and for parasailing (THANKFULLY!!!).

We are going to WDW for a few days before the cruise and will have to rent a wheelchair, because even with the walking boot the dr does not want her on her foot for extended periods of time.

So our daughters should be able to bond over their foot issues!!!

He said I have two weeks to get better and if I still have pain, he is going to put a brace or cast on me! In a very calm manner, I explained that I am going a a cruise in 3 weeks. He then, in a very calm manner, explained that I will likely be going on a cruise with crutches!!!! I have been applying my ice and doing my stretches like crazy to make sure I don't have to worry about it!!!!!

What day are you coming to Orlando? I can loan you Abigail's wheelchair. It is very expensive in the parks to rent and quite frankly, if you have your own, they cast members believe you really need it and help you out more.

Good Morning

I am going to update post 122 on Monday if anyone has anything they want to add. The cut off date for adding or changing your information is March 13. This is to give me time to put it in spreadsheet that everyone can easily read before we fly out on March 16.

We will be joining everyone on the Trolley when we are in Key West. Dh hurt his leg on Thursday and we can no longer just walk and wander Key West like we wanted to.

Yes there is a Pirate night. Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party. Dress up for dinner then watch Fireworks on the deck after dinner.

There is also a formal night, semi formal night and the other nights are cruise casual. (unless you have Palo Ressies than that night is also Formal)

It just can't seem to decide what it wants to be ... today everyone's building snowmen out front (DH built Mickey in our front yard!) and tomorrow the forecast is for 7 degrees!

My family will be on the Disney Magic in a couple of weeks and I JUST found out about the FE and the FE Exchange.

I understand that it is too late to get into the organized FE exchange through this forum - does anyone ever do anything on their own or does it kind of have to go through what has already been put together? Even if we're not involved in the exchange, I still want to buy a FE because I think they are adorable!

I wish I would have dug a little deeper and found this site sooner! I have a lot to go through to catch up!

It just can't seem to decide what it wants to be ... today everyone's building snowmen out front (DH built Mickey in our front yard!) and tomorrow the forecast is for 7 degrees!

I am fine thank you. I didn't get a scratch or a bruise on me. The car was totaled. Insurance Wrote it off and I bought another one to replace it. The one I rolled was a 2010 Dodge Avenger and I replaced it with a 2008 Avenger. I figure it was sturdy and protected me from what could have been a lot worse. I walked away.

Looking forward to a relaxing cruise.

Just got back from the Dr.s with Chris. He's been having sever lower back pain for over a week (just told me yesterday) but was afraid to go to the Dr thinking it was a ruptured disc and he didn't want to give up our cruise for back surgery.

Good news: not a ruptured disc.....Bad news: shingles

Good news: not contagious and will be all better in time for the cruise!!!

I made ours 12 inches, largely because that was the size of the dowel I found at the dollar store. But also because I had found a Mickey applique that I wanted to use, and he just didn't look right on anything smaller!

Dh is making ours this weekend. The demensions I gave him is 8 inches wide. The wall it hangs on is narrow and I don;t want it to impede traffic flow or Mousekeepers.
