I didn't think the seas were supposed to be that rough in March. Were you on an Eastern or Western last year?
We're staying deck 5, but toward the front (in a SPH). Do we need more than the bonine since our family is prone to motion sickness and this is our first cruise?
I know you posted a while ago, but I thought I'd mention that I'm quite prone to motion sickness (which stinks, because I used to like roller coasters, and it's tough to be a passenger in a car unless I take meds). Though for some reason, it's not as bad on airplanes... usually. I went on a Disney cruise... about 3 years ago and IIRC the seas went up to somewhere around 16 feet at one point - enough that you definitely felt it.
I took the "new" "less drowsy" Dramamine (I believe that's bonine) before I got on the bus to get to the ship... very glad I did, btw. I had *no* problem on board. In fact it was rather an odd feeling. I've been on "head boats" and know what starts to make me feel ill (hey, it's not always been such a problem)... and it was very odd that my brain and body were registering motion that it *knew* should make it nauseous... but I didn't feel queasy *at all*. I spent my day at sea, and a couple of the evenings periodically recognizing that fact and trying to adjust to just how odd the combination was LOL.
If bonine works for you normally, it should do you for the cruise.
