March 14 – 18 Wonder – Day 5 Disembarkation

Leaving the Wonder is definitely the hardest party of the trip!

We got up at 5:45 am as we had to go thru Custom at Wavebands at 6:15 am. It was done promptly and the line went fast. Since we are Canadians, our passports were kept by DCL when we checked in and we were given a piece of paper which we had to bring back to DCL and got back our passports.

We were soon seated at Animator palate for the breakfast. O Neill and Sebastian were as good as the previous 3 days. We handed them our envelopes and thanked them for the helpful and attentive service.

Disembarkation was painless. We went to our designated area and found back our luggage in a few minutes. One family got helped from the porter who took us all to the Budget Shuttle area. To my surprise, no one was in line. They gave the porter $ 4 and we all 12 people got on the Budget shuttle and we were able to pick up our rental car in 20 minutes. We tipped the driver $ 10 and he was very glad. This time, only our car got a free upgrade.

We started heading off to Magic Kingdom right away but by the time we reached there it was almost 10:45 am. We spent the whole day there and did not return to MCO Hyatt, which again was booked thru Priceline, until 11:30 pm.

It’s a long time but seeing the kids having so much fun, we were really happy. We left Orlando and returned to Canada the next day.

To conclude, we must thank the Disboard for all the helpful tips and hints and also thank God for such a wonderful holiday and we are now thinking to take the 7-day cruise 2 years later.

I've really enjoyed your trip report. We are considering doing the 4 day cruise next year for March Break. WE went to the parks this year and while we had a great time we were really worn out and felt like we needed another vacation to get over the first. Was the ship full and did it feel crowded?

I heard that there were 2700 guests on the cruise, but just like other ex-cruisers said, we never felt packed. However, when we were at Magic Kingdom, we were really surprised to see a huge crowd of people. I have been to MK two times before and both were during March, I never saw such a BIG crowd!
