Great....we live north of DFW airport about 15 mins.

We also live in the DFW area. We are in Euless right near the airport. I know EuphScott lives in DFW too. Looks like there are several of us. Our Spring Break in HEB ISD is cruise week, which is why we picked it too. I think much of North Texas is that week

Is anyone flying into SNA instead of LAX? If so, what are you doing about transportation? I'm trying to figure out how far it is from port. I'm finally getting around to getting flights...

I feel like I'm going crazy...wasn't there a pirate excursion at one time on Cabo? I think I reserved it, but now it shows I have nothing for Cabo. However, when I try to reserve anything, it tells me I have something reserved already, and it conflicts, but there is no name on the conflict. Anyone have this issue?

Well you are right! I just checked ressie and my Cabo Fantasy Pirate adventure is now gone.
I had posted earlier that on the first MR cruise they had sent letter to all cabins that had booked that saying the excursion had been canceled. At the time it wasn't clear if that was just for that cruise or for future ones. It looks like we got our answer.

Too bad. That was one I was looking forward to! I guess I am going to relook into the Kraken Hunt on our own.

Well that was the ONE DCL sponsored excursion I was going to definitely do. Now that it is gone I think I'll do Pirate Whale watching (Kraken Hunt) on our own... on the day the DCL Pirate Fantays was supposed to be. 9:30 start time should be okay right?

And do horse back riding on the short day where I had the DCL sponsored whale watching. I should be able to easily fit in an hour horse back ride even with the limited hours.

Being originally from the LA/OC area we avoid LAX like the Plague. Our Favorite airport is John Wayne, SNA. It is about an hour from Port (LA Harbor) on a good traffic day. Early Sunday Morning should not be bad. Later in the day, any day, plan for extra drive time.

We are flying from DFW to SNA (John Wayne) Friday and staying at a Timeshare in Anaheim (thinking about DL on Saturday, not certain on that yet, too many old friends to catch up with). We going to the Port on Sunday from the Timeshare. We are using SuperShuttle for all of our Transportation needs. While in Anaheim for the day and a half we are just using ART, very affordable and Convenient.

John Wayne Airport, SNA, is a great airport that is easy to manuever through.

We did by some pirate night stuff today. The 7 yo is going to wear a costume and myself just some clothes that tend to look like pirate attire. The 12 yo got a shirt that looks like a pirate type plus acessories.


To all the zipliners out there, so let me get this right Arrival in PVR ship time is 8:45 but land time is 9:45AM, so for example if meet time was 11AM , that is 10AM ship time. Getting a bit confused here, is that correct?

Hi:

I forgot to mention that our flight home is at 1:40pm out of SNA. SuperShuttle scheduled our pickup time for 10:40 which should have us to SNA in plenty of time.

With a 10:40 shuttle time I have no worries about being off the ship and through custums in time. Also if we are through earlier SuperShuttle does have a coordinator onsite so they will just put us on the next available shuttle rather than waiting. Our res is for a shared van since there are only 3 of us.

Also for a shuttle from Timeshare to the Port it was a $1 difference between using a shared shuttle van and a private van so I went with the private van so we would go straight there rather than making other stops to pick up other passengers.

We are all meeting at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge the first day.

Does DCL offer discounted Disneyland tickets?

We are NOT using DCL for Air and Transfers. We are NOT staying at a Disney Hotel. We ARE spending a whole lot of money on this cruise itself.

Any ideas of how to get discounted tickets? Any SoCal folks on here, is there a Southern California Resident special running at that time? My brothers still live in the area.

Time is flying by now!! My cruise pile keeps growing! I hope I can fit it all in one suitcase. The 50 pound weight limit might be a problem!!

I am seriously thinking I need to take things that I can throw away after using/wearing. That way I will have more room for other things on the trip home!!

I have started researching where to park my car when we fly out of Nashville. I really hate the thought of paying $13 a day to park at the airport. I have found some valet services that are close to the airport and they cost less. I will probably do that. I am so used to driving to PC. Flying is totally a new experience. My DH is scared to fly. He is going to medicate himself before we board!! He would like to sleep the whole way.

Try mousesavers.com the website normally has good info on getting discount tickets to Disneyland. I do not think DCL offers anything.

You can park in economy @ BNA for $8/day or long term for $10/day. They also now accept local area parking coupons.(check the link) I live 20 minutes east of the airport and it's just to convenient to park @ the airport.

Hey Big Red....there is a parking lot that offers valet service and is $8.50. Economy parking at BNA is $8, how far is economy parking? This place will clean out my car also I don't know which one would be better.

This is a map of the airport property. Shuttle's run to the parking lots every few minutes. There are several park & fly's around here. Pay attention to the details, shuttle hours and extra "fuel surcharges" etc. If you can get valet for $8.50 a day, that sounds good. Be sure to ask how much their detail service is!

Since we are new to the FE....what is the general price per gift? Is it in the $3 - 8 range? I saw someone mentione adults and kids. Do you usually do gifts for adults or just the kids?
