Question......What is the Wave Phone & when did they start that? Is it on all ships?

The wave phone is just like a cell phone. You can call/text other wave phones, you can call any cabin, and multiple ship service numbers. These have replaced the kids club pagers. I think they started using them a few months ago and yes they are on every ship. You get 2 per room and if you loose one it is $250. I am going to keep one and give the other one to my DD so we can keep in touch on the ship. You can go on youtube and see videos of them.

Has anyone had an extra charge added to their reservation? Disney now shows that I owe them $2.46. I have been paid in full since the end of December. I do not want to wait on hold for hours so I am just going to wait and check it later. One screen shows me paid in full and the other says $2.46 balance.

My youngest is stayin in a cabin with her grandparents, so she would have one of their wave phones, does that mean that I can call/text her from a wave phone from my cabin? This is really cool. If I want to know where Denise is, I can call/text her??

Yep, that is my understanding. You can call/text any other phone on the ship. I love it, too!! Just hope we do not loose one!!

I know!!! I hope we don't also. On our 2nd cruise my dh got in the hot tub with a pager in his suit!!!! I was not happy! This is great. I have searched the ship up and down one night looking for my oldest dd!! I couldn't find her anywhere at 1 AM!! Finally found her in Studio Sea with a group of teens sitting and talking. This will help me out a lot!

Yea! We will be the small group with only 4.

We are expecting about 12 inches here in Oklahoma as well. I told the kids when they went to school today to enjoy as it will probably be their only day this week. We are supposed to stay below freezing until Friday when it gets to 34. Actual temperature is going to be -4 Wednesday morning and who knows with wind chill. We are supposed to have winds up to 20mph. I am looking forward to warmth as well!

Ok, we are a party of 9. 4 adults, 2 teens (15 girl, 14boy) and and 3 tweens (10 girl, 10 boy and 12boy).Thats 23 people altogether. Sounds great! I don't think the ship will leave 23 people behind.

Oh and we are expected to have 30 cm (that's about 12inches) of snow coming in tomorrow.

And if its going to be another feelslike -30 day.... I m going to have to have a sick day.

I am so sick of this cold weather.....need some sunlight.

I didn't have a charge, but I did have a small refund for both staterooms. About 7 or 8 dollars. I was told is was a port fee reduction.

On another note, they switched my Palo brunch reservations to Day 5, the sea day. So they will not be having brunch on the first Cabo day

Yipee our brunch was changed. I booked the Harbor Cruise & Scenic stop for the first Cabo day. DH gets to see the rocks, he will be happy!!!

I found the refund in my bank account I had paid with my debit card, and they refunded it to the card. Since I booked with aTA, i don't get to see the $$ side of my ressie, unless I just don't know where to look.

I'm so glad they changed brunch, too...

I just went to my Disney Visa statment online and it said $10.16 refunded on Jan. 16!! Hadn't noticed that before! That is nice of them

I know I'm not on the cruise any more, but I'm having a hard time keeping up with y'all!!

Your DH doesn't have the "pager in the hot tub" market cornered!! A good friend did the same thing. They made him pay for it, about $200, and they were going to keep the pager. He made them give him the pager since he paid for it. Sure enough about a week after he got home, it dried out started working! He couldn't use it here, but he was glad at least they didn't get his money AND a working pager!!

I booked the whale watching cruise on the first Cabo day (the New Day) since it had such weird port times. But it is really a place holder, worried it would book up so grabbed it for now.

I'm disappointed that they haven't offered any "extra" excursions....thought since we were there two days they'd expand the offerings and give additional cabo choices.

I still think I may just do horse back riding on my own the first day or even a whale watching on my own.

I DO know we've decided on the Crown Paradise in PV for our "resort" day. It will be sort of our Castaway Cay day since we're not stopping there. I got my email confirmation from Crown today! WHO ALL ELSE IS COMING?

With my Palo Brunch being moved to the 17th, it opened up a Palo High Tea. We're going to High Tea and Brunch on the 17th and Palo Dinner on the 18th. What kind of clothes do you wear to High Tea? I had personalized t-shirts made for St. Patrick's Day, don't think I can wear those to Palo ~

We may come to PV but DH is still fretting about the crime in Mexico... We will be making the final call the morning of...
