March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

I just received an email from DCL that we are getting $150 OBC for all the changes and free drinks for the entire cruise.

Just kidding~

I emailed them and got a response today. They said that they recommended Collage as well. They also said it should be about a total of 5 hours including pick up and drop off. That should get us back to the ship in plenty of time. I will be booking the 11:15 either tonight or tomorrow.

I was thinking I finally had some idea of what to do for Cabo but now the schedule is changing again. I would like to a horse back riding/ATV combo with an outside vendor. I think I will wait to see if they make anymore changes to the itinerary.

Meredith

I think we may book the 9:15 because now it shows the port departure is 6pm which usually means all onboard by 5 or 5:30. I don't like cutting things close, especially in another country!!!!!!!

True! I did not even think about them changing the departure time to earlier. I was concerned about getting back to the ship for early dinner but it would have been okay if we were a little late. With the earlier departure time, that changes things. I will have to think about this some more. The 9:15 tour just means being at the office by 9:00am. If we get off the ship by 8:00-8:15 we should have plenty of time. Hopefully that will not be too early for my husband. :goodvibes

Hello Everyone,

I am still lost on the FE exchange? I have not ever gotten an email or anything to say that we are on it for sure. I did send a PM to ask to be placed on it.:) Is there a list yet? I am thinking not, but how do I make sure we are on it?

Just booked the 9:15 tour.

Disney Fans...The person doing the list has been really busy the last few weeks and she gave us an update that she will get the list out soon. She has had the very lucky pleasure of sailing on the Dream!!

Yes, we have not had an update lately. Dicechat is on a Dream Cruise and will get it out soon. I am sure you will be put on the list. None of us have gotten an update either. Hope to get on soon though. It would be helpful to know how many gifts are needed. :goodvibes

Just got this email from Disney...I sent back an email asking them to confirm that our formal night is indeed the 3rd night (Cabo). That makes no sense to me why they would do formal night when we are in Cabo til 5pm and we have a sea day the day before.

Thank you for your e-mail.

I would be happy to provide information regarding your Mexican Riviera cruise.

First, your new itinerary is as follows:

Sunday - Los Angeles
Monday - At Sea
Tuesday - Cabo San Lucas (ashore time is 11:15am, onboard time is
5:00pm)
Wednesday - Puerto Vallarta (ashore time is 7:30am, onboard time is
7:00pm)
Thursday - At Sea
Friday - Cabo San Lucas (ashore time is 7:15am, onboard time is 1:30pm) Saturday - At Sea Sunday - Los Angeles

Please be aware, Guests ashore and onboard times can change without notice.

Second, Port Adventures will be available to arrange for both calls to Cabo San Lucas. At this time, Port Adventures are unable to be reserved online for the additional stop at Cabo San Lucas. We are in the process of adding these to the website.

Please be assured, if you pre-reserved a Port Adventures for Mazatlan it will be removed from your reservation.

Lastly, dining attire varies by venue or theme night on your cruise. In general, most meals are "Cruise Casual"-- jeans, khakis and capris are permitted; however, we ask that Guests refrain from wearing shorts, swimwear or tank tops in the dining rooms.

Below is the recommended attire for your cruise itinerary and is subject to change:

7-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise
*Nights 1, 2, 5, 7: cruise casual
*Night 3: "formal night" - formal wear for men: tuxedo or suit; for
women: gown or dress
*Night 4: pirate night with deck party - cruise casual or bring your best pirate outfit!
*Night 6: "semi-formal night" - semi-formal wear for men: suit/jacket; for women: dress or pantsuit.

...Tuesday - Cabo San Lucas (ashore time is 11:15am, onboard time is
5:00pm)
Wednesday - Puerto Vallarta (ashore time is 7:30am, onboard time is
7:00pm)
Thursday - At Sea
Friday - Cabo San Lucas (ashore time is 7:15am, onboard time is 1:30pm) ...

Before anyone asks...it's a long ways from LA to Cabo. I don't know what time Wonder left Cabo on the repositioning cruise, but they didn't make it to LA until after 6am local time. That's cutting it a bit close.

So they may have changed their Cabo arrival and departure times to save a bit on fuel, or to be more realistic and give themselves a bit of breathing room.

On the trip up from Cabo to LA for the first time, they were doing 28 knots, which is fast for a cruise ship.

CopaDave ~ Did I read on another thread that you are doing the Harbor Cruise and Scenic Stop on the 2nd day of Cabo? My family is also on that excursion!! I am making my 17 & 14 yr old dd's go with us. :)

Yep. Should be fun.

We emailed Martha as you did got an email quote of the $35 per adult $18 per child but when my husband called on the phone he got a quote of $69 per adult $35 per child. We are going to print the email out and bring it with us. Martha is the booking manager there and we were told "maybe we have a special going if you got an email from her with a different quote"! :confused3
Its worth a try! :)

I just got the same email as Dramama did, $35/adult. All inclusive~~
