Got a couple of additions and corrections for the list so I will try to get it out this weekend sometime!! We also booked our first B2B cruise!! October 2nd & 6th 2011 on the Dream!!!

Congrats! I'd love to do a B2B, it never seems to work out logistically with us. I'm sure you are looking forward to it! I can't wait to be on the Dream...counting down to January 26!!!

airfare is just not ccoperating. But I have found a deal I think - Virgin America is starting service from DFW to LA - so maybe I will get to try out a new airline.

Rates are just not going down yet!

I wonder if rates will go down. For some of the country that is Spring Break week. I figure the rates will stay up because of that.

Glad we have our tickets.

My DD's are trying to talk us into going to DW in November. I really wish we could. I told them IF we do we have to stay at POP Century. We can't stay at our favorite Wilderness Lodge. They seem to be fine with it! We will see!

I just booked a five night stay at POP Century for November 18 ~ 23, 2010!! I am going to DW in 22 days!! We are going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the 19th!!! I am so excited. We also got free quick service dinning with our plan!!!! Yipee.... sorry just had to share!!!

Awww...we understand your love for Disney!! Come and celebrate here as much as you can! I'm sooo excited for you! My kids would KICK themselves if I planned a DW trip! We're actually trying to plan a combo DW/Dream cruise for our 20th in 2012...figure we'll hit the parks then go on the Dream for a double CC dip (never been there!)....then I read where it's likely cruise for Hawaii in 2012...ahhhh the decisions!!!

From a basic security standpoint, I would feel a lot better if our FB group was a closed group. Then no one can see your post except the people in the group. Is that going to stop me from posting?? No, but I am very particular about what I post! At least you almost have to be looking for a Dis thread to find it!!

I think Big Red has a good point. Especially when we all start talking cabin numbers and stuff! Facebook has real names on them. That is why I made the teen/tween page closed.

And Hopelea, congrats! Planning for a long time to make the perfect vacation is fun, but sometimes planning "last minute" is a blast!

luckily we have the dinning plan with the 2 quick service meals because all the sit down places are booked!! That is the bad thing about waiting last minute....no sit downs. I am sure if you walked up there, they wouldn't turn you away w/o a ressie.

Anyway, this gives me something to distract me for a little while. Maybe when we get home, I will have a cabin #

So, I finally decided what we are doing for excursions. I may have space available in a few of them too...I opened them up to my clients first, but I'll post open spaces after another week or so after I see how much space is left.

Besides many clients onboard, I am traveling specifically with two other moms and their kids. One of my twins is rooming with her friend and parents, so I'm going to count that child in this (but not the parents): There are total 3 adults, 2 (16), 4 (12), 2 (7), 1 (6), 1 (5)

• Puerto Vallarta: Whale & Dolphin Watching with a Marine Biologist: $76 I'm taking either 1 or 3 of my children with me on this one. 5 hours. I am Very, Very excited about this one. It is very limited, boat only holds 12. I've already booked it up. For sure, I'm taking my 5 year old, still debating on taking the two 12 year olds...I don't want to leave them on the ship because I don't want them all over the ship when I'm not on it (and one would listen and behave, the other is debatable). I'm thinking of just paying for the two of them because I don't want to inconvenience anyone onboard.
  
• Puerto Vallarta: Snorkel in a Secluded Cove at Colomitos: $57/$34 6-12. My two friends, their kids, and at least one of mine (16) is doing this one. 5 hours
  
• Mazatlan: Horseback Ride Stone Island. I'm taking my 4 children and one of their friends. $50 each, 6 hours. Has activity and beach time after 2 hour horseback ride. Kids 5 and up, which really appealed to me because my youngest is 5 and she is giddy with the thought of horseback riding (led, obviously!).
  
• Mazatlan: Stone Island Bay & Beach Party: 6 hours, $48/$41 5-11. My friends and their kids are doing this one, one of them is allergic to horses
  
• Cabo: Zipline & More, Get your Tarzan On! This one not only has ziplining but rappelling and some other activities, and my friend and I are taking all the kids 12 and up. $79 for 5 hours.
  
• Cabo: The other mom will probably take her two (7 and 6), her nephew (7) on the Pirate Snorkel and Treasure Hunt Fantasy through Disney. I'll leave my 5 year old onboard.

I'm excited to have these decided, I feel very good about my choices, and I think that they are a good value!

So, not to hop on your bandwagon, lol, but I just put us on the November 14th Wonder sailing...we might do the Christmas party on the 18th since we'll be in the area. I'm taking my three youngest, and my friend (Grlzmom) is taking her little three also. Weird going in two weeks, but exciting!

Funny because when I read your post, I was so excited for you and had no intention of going anywhere soon, lol. The opportunity just fell in my lap this afternoon!

It is weird...we just snagged a Palo brunch so happy about that.

I have no flights, or a hotel after...it is just bizarre! And I'm trying to figure out if I can leave on the 13th or not, DDs have a cheer competition but no one can tell me when they might compete. Cheer is annoying me lately, it is putting a crimp in my traveling, lol.

I don't have a GTY for the MR but a lot of my clients do and none of them have cabin assignments...same for the many I have on the Feb 27 sailing.

My oldest (16) is in high school cheer that takes a ton of time. My 11 year old is in her 5th season of competitive cheer, she started when she was 7 and it has been nonstop since, because even when it isn't competition season they still practice. I guess so they won't lose their tumbling. It is exhausting. Then this year my DH talked me into putting DD5 into it as well. Adorable, but really, what is the point? So I have one that does a few games a week at school, one that is already on a level 5, and a little one. Plus, during competitions I am there ALL day...I have one on level 5 and one on level 1. Opposite ends of the earth in the cheer world! Our first one is tomorrow...then the fun really begins.

They are only allowed to miss 5 practices, and never a required practice. I think that Sunday, March 20th might be #6, so I'm hoping I can get an early flight. Otherwise for the last major two competitions (Atlanta and Virginia Beach) if they follow the rules and kick her off they can attempt to find a tiny level 5 flyer to replace her...lol...probably not happening. I'm adding two unexpected absences for this cruise in November.

UM....Denise....I believe you just got back from DW in JUNE!! I believe I had to look at YOUR DW trip on FB while I was sitting at HOME!!! I will not be posting pictures to FB while I am gone....I will be sending them directly to YOUR phone And you got to stay at the Contemporary!!! I am staying at POP~!

Oooh!! All those excursions sound fun, but to be honest, I'm watching my pocketbook like a hawk and for us to just cruise with the kids is a vacation this go round, really trying to pull off a Dream cruise/WDW for our 20th anniversary in 2012 and then I'd rather blow it...

We most likely will stay on the ship in Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan, plan to get off in Cabo for the day...so we can help keep an eye on any 12 year olds! That little city they mentioned the other day where 15 were massacred in a car wash, sits conveniently smack between PV and Mazatlan..just removes any desire for me to get off the ship.

On a lighter note, I've been trying weekly to work out our rooms so that we're at least on the same floors, when we booked in March they only had a 10C and 11B (5 floors apart apparently) so yesterday I was able to add a fourth person to one room (bringing our party to 8) and change the 10C to an 11B..so I saved $200!! At least the 11B's will all be on the same floor and hopefully with the rooms being linked if they do upgrade us it will be to rooms on the same floor.

I knew some of you had been looking for rooms..just one thing, I kept trying to change my 10C room and it SHOWED an 11B at $1844 (for 4) but when I clicked on it and hit continue it kept showing the price as $3022...so I had to call the website help desk and sure enough she moved it to the $1844 for us..so if the website doesn't work, just call in! I have a feeling several roooms have opened up with that Kids free offer that were booked in May/June.
