Hope! Hey! I emailed you on facebook to let you know we were trying to change...I just did it last night...I had no problem getting an 11B TWICE for 4 people...so I just didn't think availability was that tight....I would be calling the travel agent 2x a day for the next few days...if I could switch 2 rooms (one only have 3, adding a 4th, and switching a 10C to an 11B) there must be rooms available...keep on her! I used DU last trip and while Webmaster John was a great help, I felt I had to go and tattle to him that his agents weren't responding, they changed agents on me and was guaranteed the new one would answer my questions (almost lost $1000 on a deal, I had to book them myself and then release them so she could get them..it really was a lot of hassle..but we received substantial OBC so I put up with it) this go round I would only get $100 OBC and having it was not worth the hassle...I just saved $200 by switching them myself....not sure they could do what I just did through Disney..hoping yours can!!!!!

Also, Hope, if I have anyone cancel on this cruise, I'll be sure and let you know! I have successfully switched several, and as final payment nears I may have another cancellation or two, I'll be sure and let you know so perhaps you can try and grab the cabin!

I'm primarily posting here on the DIS, as well. Although, I haven't been posting much in either location.

We're getting super close and just like some of you, I'm nervous about Mexico. Living here in Arizona, the issues in Mexico are something we hear about quite a bit. I've told DH that we're going to do DCL excursions if we do anything at all. He insists that, at the least, he and I get off the ship at every porrt. I don't know. Nervous but I'm not going to live in fear all the time. We'll see what happens.

Was looking at DCL today and daydreaming about a Dream or Fantasy cruise in 2012. DS will be 18 in 2012 and graduating high school. Makes it much harder to plan family vacations when I'm not even sure he'll vacation with us any more. :-(

DICECATT...please do let us know. Here is our situation....We met Denise & Family on our March '09 cruise. We have kept in touch. I called her and told her about my great find on the MR cruise. Well, she tried to book. Only thing available was a GTY 11 B and she could only book her 3 of her family. So...my parents (73) also are going and they have a room that sleeps 3 on deck 5. We booked her oldeset dd in their room. We were hoping that when her GTY room was assigned that she would get a room that slept 4....well about 3 weeks after she booked....her room was assigned CAT 11 that sleeps 3. We are hoping that we can get her a room that sleeps four. I was thinking that as it gets closer to time, there maybe some cancelations. We have enough beds for all 10 of us, but she is really hoping that she can get her family all in one room.

I saw that tour and I am considering it. The same company also runs the ATV tours in Cabo. Thinking about that also. At the very least, we will probably do a city tour.

In Cabo we are taking a DCL excursion...Harbor Cruise & Scenic Stop. My dh wants to see the stone arches and I wanted a short inexpensive trip.

Isn't the Sam's and WM right across the street from where we dock in PV? If so, we could do a Sam's excursion

They came out nicely - the only thing I would fix is perhaps making the logo a little larger on the front!

Feel free to use the design all if you have an interest. The cost per shirt is high with low quantity, but there is no set up charge and they really do look nice I think.

I used that same design that you posted, ordered 5 white shirts for my family, and paid on my credit card.
Today, I received a call from Customized Girl stating that they could not make those shirts with that design because it was a copyright issue. I am so bummed! She said if they removed the wording on the decal that says "Disney Cruise Line " on it they could do that. I said.....ahhh no that is the whole point !!!

So again, I guess you were lucky. Enjoy the beautiful shirts!

On one hand, I guess it is good that they police it like that...so unreputable people won't mass produce and sell for profit. On the other hand, Disney doesn't care if you are making it to wear yourself.

I am really really getting nervous...the facts support my fear...

15 murdered in a car wash BETWEEN Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta!! They don't tell you the facts just that it was a Pacific state, which means ocean so I checked it out and it's right on the ocean between these two!! EEK!

28,000 have died in the past 4 years in Mexico!! Only 4,000 US soldiers have died in a war in Iraq/Afghanistan!! Just this week alone, a Canadian man in Acapulco was found murdered..he was on business and his family had to find him, the police did nothing, they went down and checked with the rental company was able to find a GPS tracking signal, found his car and found his body..they were livid at the Mexican authorities who did nothing after they reported him missing a week earlier...

I think I'm just that more nervous b/c I'm taking my nieces along with our children...I just would not feel safe booking excursions right now, I need things to improve in Mexico and they're only getting worse. Don't even google "deaths in Mexico" there is a website dedicated to those who have lost their lives at resorts, parasailing, ATV'ing, on the beach...their warning was that Mexico hides these deaths to promote tourism...one ladies husband died at 2pm in a pool..no one would give CPR..a guest tried to and it took 30 minutes for them to get an ambulance, he ended up dying and when the lady's sister was checking out at the hotel, another couple asked the front desk how was the man who almost drowned the day before, the front desk said he was fine, he was already back and enjoying his vacation...when the sister heard this she nearly passed out and told the couple that no indeed he had died....I need to stop reading these things!!

Although to be fair - I had attempted to use another company to make similar shirts and ran into the same problem. So, I was expecting that problem.

I guess we will wear ours with pride - and honored that we got past the censors!

Tara....I know I am booking a harbor cruise & scenic stop in Cabo through DCL. I also am thinking about booking the Stone Island tour that isn't DCL. The Stone Island one is away from the mainland. I am praying that it will be a little safer away from the mainland. I will not be doing the ziplinning, I will not be going inland at all!! I hope things do improve. I am not opposed to staying on the ship, but I do feel that I need to get my dd's off the ship to see a few things.

I get an email this morning saying that our order is being shipped today???
I hope they didn't go ahead and change the logo(taking the words Disney Cruise Line off).....
My credit card was charged too.
