March 13, 2011 - DREAM

I've done all of them and really enjoyed the Tequila/Margarita tasting the most. Martinis were not to my liking and the Beer tasting just had me "wasted" for the rest of the day.

That being said, I'd be up there for the Margarita tasting. I'll be lining up early to get into the Palo brunch anyway.

BTW, we debark on St. Patrick's Day (March 17).

Awesome info - thanks! Do we sign up @ guest services the 1st day, or how does it work?

Hey Chernabog,
I have two granddaughters on the cruise--one will be 10 in April and would love to meet your daughter, and one will be 8 in August. I phoned DIL last night to ask if they could attend the Dismeet with us, and she said the girls would be delighted. We'll be looking forward to meeting you all.

Excellent, Thank you...I may not get the entire crew to the Meet...but at least DD and I will be there...

Seriously! I need to call right now! We are staying at the Radisson the night before and with six of us and LOTS of luggage I want to make sure there is room.

Did it! 10am shuttle confirmed for all six of us!

Also just made our limo reservation from MCO to the Radisson on the 12th and from the Cruise Terminal to the ADL Kidani Village on the 17th! Will use Disney Transportation to the Airport on the 20th. WooHoo! Getting Closer!

On the same shuttle, you won't be able to miss us, my partner and her parents, myself and our DD..all in matching Donald Duck cruise shirts.

Hi everyone you have another group from the Great White North joining you.

We are a group of 5 myself, DW, DD (age 10) and my parents, we are doing the B2B with the cruise on the 17th.

We are flying down so we likely will not be taking part in FE, but I will confirm this prior to the cut-off date.

My DD is looking forward to the meet to get to know a few of the kids on board. Chernabog381 our daughters sound if they are cut from the same cloth, my is very friendly but is quite shy at first in new situations. Looking forward to seeing everyone in just 8 weeks.

I hope it's not too late but would love to be added. DH & DS (5) are super excited! We are also coming from Houston, TX! Room 9021:cutie:

Welcome firegoofy and Leros. We seem to have a lot of Canadians and a lot of Texans. And it has been that way on most of our past cruises...:confused3 :thumbsup2

Welcome Leros:

We are from Katy looking forward to joining all our Texas friends on the Dream.:yay:
Canadian friends too

LOVE the Donald Duck idea for group shirts since Admiral Donald is in charge of the Dream!!!!! Too cute:). Unbounded to the family (as is the trip!), I have Steamboat Willie shirts for all of us to wear. We're dropping a rental car off that morning, so we should see y'all at the port early!

Welcome to our group! I added y'all to the FE list - thanks for the info :)

Can't believe how close it is to our cruise - woohoo!!!

Welcome Firegoofy and Leros! Getting super excited and working on all of our craft projects for the cruise finished some magnets today.

Our DD is very happy she will get to meet several girls her own age. I had to laugh she asked me if Firegoofy's daughetr would speak English or French or both...she is convinced they will be friends already.

Chernabog - You can tell your daughter that her new friend speaks both French and English, but her first language is English. I think I saw that some of the group is at the Radisson the night before we will be there too.

Welcome firegoofy! Sounds like our group is having a "pre-meet" at the Radisson the nite before we leave, with everyone that is staying there :). Anyone else staying at Country Inn w/Jenerra11 and us?

Can't wait to meet everyone, no matter when and where!

I guess we could set up a quick meet if anyone is interested...Our DD will be in the pool until someone drags her away on Saturday. She keeps asking all kinds of questions about the kids she is going to meet...I keep telling her I don't know she will have to wait and see. She asked how to say hello in French...I told her she already knew that one (think about Beauty and the Beast) so she wandered around the house singing Bonjour.

She wants to know the favorite character of the kids around her age going to the DISmeet on Sunday please let us know as she wants to make a small craft for the kids.;)

Sounds like our DGD will have lots of friends by the time we even board. Good on her. :yay:

Our flight doesn't land until 645, so with getting luggage and driving to PC (limo) I don't know if our kids will make it to the pool when we get there (but my two youngest -- 10 and 8 yo DDs will try!) I will probably need to feed them well in the Austin airport before leaving so they aren't too hungry when we get there. Our embark bags will already be packed (swimsuits, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, my camera bag, coverups, meds) and I will have our outfits packed in 2 gallon ziplocs on the top of our suitcases along with our pjs so that night will be super easy and the suitcases will not be disturbed.

Hi txsoccermom,

We are on the same cruise and also booked at the Country Inn & Suites for pre-cruise stay using the promo code. I am just wondering if you plan on parking a car there during the cruise. Do you have any concerns about if they will let us add that option?

Thanks!

Twinstars

You are so organized! I might have to steal your plan ;) LOVE IT!

Twinstars - Yea, another CI&S family!!! You could call them, say you are staying there and are wondering what they charge for parking each day, to leave it there during your cruise (I think it's $20/day....which from what I read is the same as the daily rate at the port). Or, don't know what promo rate you used, but the website shows $135 for the "park n cruise special" at CI&S for Sat. nite. That's probably cheaper than paying $20/day at CI&S or the port.

Hope that helps!
