We can finally start getting ready for the cruise, staying 2 nights after the cruise at BWV. We are dvc members at Vero, and are staying at BWV for the 1st time. Not sure about Nassau, we all like to snorkel and may look for a beach there, weather permitting. My son(13) would enjoy the pirate museum. I have found so much information on the boards to help us in planning.

Lady Robb - Thanks for the list. I was trying to put one together and kept getting confused. Just an update, my dh is not going. Just me and the kids for a Spring Break getaway. He couldn't get the time off.

I emailed my TA yesterday and she said the docs are sent UPS 3rd Day Air, and they should arrive 10-14 days prior to your embarkation date. I know some people already have theirs, but ours aren't really "late" yet. I know I look like a crazed stalker...every time I hear a delivery truck I'm running to the street or staring out the window!

Thanks, I was starting to get concerned. I know what you mean about "crazed stalker" ; don't want to miss that UPS truck!

I haven't received our docs yet either. Last time we received them only a couple of days before we left. I was at the end of my rope waiting on that UPS man - If he saw me standing on my porch, he would go the long way around my street!!! I think he was just as excited to deliver them as I was to get them - no more stalking!!!!!

Hi all! I haven't checked in in a while...busy with work and the kids! I am just hoping to have time to pack! No cruise docs yet but won't panic until after next week.....we did everything online that we could so there shouldn't be much to them! We are going to Seaworld the day before the cruise and staying at the Hard Rock Hotel after for 3 nights (and taking in a Spring Training Cards/ Braves game..GO CARDS!!).

Our DD 12 is very excited that she has already met some awesome friends going on the cruise through email/ VMK. Are any of the other kids corresponding? I may have to twist the boys arms but I think it would be great to already know some kids ...especially since they only have 4 days onboard

Here are names and stateroom #'s for our family. Haven't had time to make door signs but would love to! Where do you find the magnet paper??

Our names are Sandy (me), John (DH), Brad DS 15, Allie DD12 (almost 13), Justin DS10 (almost 11) and Ryan DS 7 (almost 8 hopefully they will let him in the lab as he wants to be with big brother...and has been in the Club since he has been 3). We are in staterooms 6098 and 6099 across the hall from each other. My MIL is down the hall on the same deck.

We live a few miles from the Space Center in Houston and have good friends that are astronauts (none on this mission) but we are so excited that we may get to see a launch!! Praying for good weather! Can't wait!

I've updated your info on the Roll Call (page 5).

I did not use magnet paper for my door signs. I printed them on regular cardstock and use a roll of magnet tape I found at walmart. The magnet paper was way out of my price range for the number of signs I wanted to make.

We are leaving on March 9 and driving down. I don't like to fly. We booked the trip at the last minute so I'm sure flights would be way to expensive anyway.

Did you get your passports?

I love when we get to South Carolina and start see palm trees.

We will get there on the 10th and we are staying at the Best Westren.

I'm looking at doing Bush Gardens for the two days after.

I bet there will be a few Canadians as it is March Break for us.

How long of a trip is that from Toronto? We will be driving as well, but from Houston and leaving on the 9th as well. Since we are driving, I had to get a little of WDW in, so we will eat dinner on the 10th at the Poly and then head to Cape Canaveral. I'm getting so excited!!!

If we drive straight through it takes about 20 hours! It's a long time but we do enjoy it. We go through NY state, PA, WV, VA, NC, SC, Georgia and Flordia. So it always seems like we are going into a new place. Also, because we are from a different country eveything seems so different and we like that. Money, stores, towns, accents are all different along the way and it makes the drive so much more.

This is a little side note: Once when driving through PA we got off to get gas but the station was a good 10-15 minutes off the main highway. We were in the middle of nowhere. So we finally find a Citgo and stop. My DH had to use the facillities and pulled up to the door rater then the pump so he could run in. (He had to go pretty bad) so he runs in and goes strait to the bathroom as he was comming out of the washroom I was walking into the gas station. The man working started yelling at him. So I go over wondering why the gentelman is yelling and as it turns out in this area people ask to use the washroom. It was too funny. The guy was saying you don't walk into someones house and use their washroom without asking. My DH keep saying but this is a gas station with PUBLIC WASHROOMS.

Anyway we said sorry we didn't know that was a custom here and he forgave us. But we still laugh about it to this day.

So we always seem to have a story and memorable experiences when we drive and maybe that's why we like it so much!

Plus it gives us time together - my son (13) is growingup so fast and he never wants to "hang" with his parents. This way he is stuck with us and we usually have a great time playing driving games, joking etc.
