We too will be joining all of you on this cruise. It will be myself, DH, DS (8), and my sister's family is also going. She has two girls ages 8 & 10. This is our first Disney cruise, and the first cruise for all of the kids. They are soooo excited (well, I am too.) I hope it is a wonderful experience for all.
I'm so excited to hear of the girls going. My dd age 11 is so excited. How are the girls chatting? The last cruise we went on we all got each others e-mails and had a group mailing. That way we could give details without posting them for "all" to see. Lady Rob - your doorsigns look great! You might want to add "Lady Rob" to them so fellow disers will know who you are! And you might want to reconsider the kids names on the signs. I know everyone wants to think that Disney is safe, but you just never know.
The closer it gets we need to make a meet time. Like, everyone meet at Beach Blanket Buffet at 2pm or at the Sail Away party. We need to have a special tag or something so we can recognize each other. I'm getting so excited!!!!

It doesn't matter to me where to meet, but I just thought I would mention that in the past when I cruised, the meets have been at the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3 around 3:00 (before the safety drill which is at 4:00). Earlier than that and some people aren't on the ship yet or they are having lunch or at the pool.
There is usually no one else in this lounge at this time, so we have had it all to ourselves in the past. The kids have been able to meet each other so they have familar faces to look for that night in the Lab. If you haven't been on the ship, this lounge is an open area with lots of tables and chairs.

Did you hear that the shuttle will be launching at 6:43 on March 15th. Hopefully, we will be able to see it.
I think that's only about an hour before we dock. That would be an awesome highlight to the end of the cruise!
How close is the cruise ship port to the shuttle launch pad?
