March 10 announcement?

Yeah, it probably was a rumour. boo......:sad1:

well, I'm still checking at 9:01pst to see if there is a change on the website. I still can't believe they haven't released 2012 itinerary yet. DCL is going to "miss the boat" on people planning their vacations next year if they don't hurry up and release. On Royal Caribbean you can book up to October of 2012. For us, we've already begun thinking about where we want to go...

April was ORIGINALLY rumored to find out the rest of 2012....but then the March 10th rumor was going around and it seems we all jumped onboard.

Now it seems that an announcement may not be happening tomorrow...I guess we will have to patient a bit longer.:surfweb::surfweb:

We are planning a big trip for 2012. I hope DCL gets this thing in gear. :3dglasses

Someone posted they stayed up all night last night.... Doubt that anything will be on their site until after they announce.

I'm just wondering how much we can determin about a home port for the Magic based on the weekly stop in GC.

Hopefully they will come out with the rest of 2012 soon...we're ready to book our October 2012 trip for our 10 year anniversary, but obviously can't yet. I'm getting restless, lol. This would be our first DCL cruise!

I don't see why Disney doesn't want our money already. It makes no sense to me :confused3:confused3

You can book the Fantasy ( not sure about the Dream ) for the fall of 2012. A month ago we booked the Fantasy for Sept 2012. To book you must call DCL. There are some different cruises available to San Juan. :)

For what it's worth, and it may be nothing. (But how I love putting fuel on a fire!)

Disney Parks & Resorts and Disney Cruise Line is scheduled for a March 11th Press Conference at 10:00 in the Press Conference Room, Hall 5.3 at the ITB Berlin. (World Leading Travel Trade Show, or so it claims.)

Source Here.

Then at 11:00, it seems to look like they're going to announce you can book DCL trips through Dertour... Not a big deal unless you live in Germany.

I always heard it would be April for the summer 2012 stuff. RCCL and Carnival don't show anything in Europe yet for summer 2012 either unless I'm not putting info. in correctly on their sites. It seems that making an announcement in April is cutting it close for paying in full as the European cruises are a bit more than the Caribbean and then when do shore excursion booking windows open up? I had hoped to do Europe with DCL but now I'm thinking that might not happen. Gotta just continue to wait.

Eagerly waiting too. I have a Carnival Hawaii cruise I am looking at too. But do not want to jump ship unless I have to

I'm all for this waiting the longer they wait maybe more people will jump over for carnival or Royal and prices will be lower:lmao::lmao:

Just checked the RCL website and they do show sailings for Europe/Med for all of 2012 up until october.

So on March 11th at 10 a.m. in Germany - what time would that be EST in USA?

-6h, so 4AM EST.

It actually makes sense to announce european sailings at a european fair, doesn't it?

Maybe they will even announce that Disney Fantasy will take over the Med right from the start, after all, she's from Germany as well. No long TA crossing...

(Hey, one can dream...) :goodvibes

Anyone remember when the Fall dates came out last year for the Dream, I booked in March of 2010 for the Dream Sept 2011 just can’t remember the day in March that I booked, guess I could call but DCL has had a long wait!

I like your thinking! We're currently booked for Dec 2011, but moving it to Nov 2012. Gradually making payments now so we have extra time to pay for it all by sailing date.
Waiting anxiously for the dates. Disney's customer service does seem to be lacking in this regard.:(
