Just checked the website but not seeing answers to a couple questions.

How far in advance can I book this? And how far ahead do I need to book it? (Going third week in August)

Is it only offered on certain days of the week?

Monday, Wednesday, Friday. (see updates in following replies) 180 days. I would book as soon as you know you want to go. It is refundable, 48 hours if I recall. Don't forget the discounts....AP, DVC, Disney Visa, all 15%. It is a wonderful tour.

I was able to book a Tuesday in June for 6 people about 60 days out. I wasn't able to get my first choice of days with that many people.

I wonder if you can fill a tour if they will add another person for you. I'm curious because I'm in the starting phase of putting together a trip for 2018 with 8 people and would like to do the Wild Africa Trek. That's a smaller tour.

I actually called Disney about this tour the other day and the CM told me it was offered everyday. Not sure how accurate this information is.

Hmm....now I might have to call back! I went ahead and booked it on a Monday, because I thought it was only certain days, but a Thursday would be much more convenient for our plans down there...

Great updates on the available days. I was using this site's static information, but often it is dated.

Called last week to book a tour for a group of 8 in August. I was also told tours were offered every day. I was specifically looking for a Monday (Aug 15) as it's my son's birthday and had no trouble booking that date.

when my sister and I initially planned to do this tour last month (we're locals) we wanted to go this coming Friday 5/6 cause I had taken that day off of work. It was booked however when I had received my schedule for 4/30-5/6 last week and had last monday off she called and it had been open and so we took it.

I would recommend the tour (even with one of the 3 rides you go on down it was still fun)
