Marathon Weekend Questions

Since it doesn't appear I'll be doing the Goofy this year, I'm making alternate plans. Does anyone know what the theme is for the 5K? I can at least do that race.

Also, is there a volunteer thread open yet? I thought I saw one before, but looked through the boards and couldn't find it. If I can't run, I can at least return the help that all the volunteers have given me in past races and be a volunteer myself. Are WISHERS still doing the water station for the full?

5k themes will come out later....

If I were to guess on a theme I would have to pick from Toy Story or Tinkerbell. All a guess but generally themed on a recent hit - or soon to be hit. So I vote for Toy Story

Another volunteer question. It looks like the deadline to register a group was in July. I didn't notice here that there were any specific WISH groups registered. If I wanted to sign up as an individual, how would I do that? I looked on the race site, but only saw race registration, nothing to indicate how to sign up to volunteer.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I saw that thread, but that's where it says the reg. deadline was in July. I don't see where anyone coordinated a WISH group this year (Judy is running the full, so not volunteering).

I was looking for a site where I could just sign up as an individual to volunteer.

That was the site I was looking for. You're right, the pickings look slim. Guess I'll just have to be an "unofficial" volunteer and "official" scream teamer for the WISH crew!

Coach was right. According to the website, the 5K is "Buzz and Woody's Best Friends".
