Marathon Weekend Packages

I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I couldn't figure out where else it would fit. Feel free to move it if it is improperly placed!

Background: my husband and I decided we wanted to run the WDW half marathon in 2014 (I ran in 2013, and ran the princess half in 2010), but unfortunately our vacation time didn't seem to line up with the dates. Fast forward to now, when magically we are able to get the time off, AND now my parents, brother, and his gf want to go with us. They all want to run the 10K, and my husband and I want to also do the half, but obviously these are all sold out with general registration.

I was googling to try and figure out if there are any travel packages or runner groups, like at other marathon events, where you book the hotel with them and get guaranteed race entry. So far I have only found one company, and they only allow 2 race entries per room (which doesn't work for us since there are going to be 6 adults spread over 2 rooms). Does anyone know of any other companies/groups that have packages? I know it will cost a little more this way, but given that there are no other options it may be the only way it works out.

My sister and I used some sort of package through a local (Florida) sports group which included a room at the Polynesian when we ran the half marathon. But that was awhile ago and I don't know how she found the group. But maybe someone else can help you.

runDisney is where all of the race information is located. Be aware that the 10K closed weeks ago. The only race that is still open is the full Marathon.

Oops, I read your post too fast. Sorry. I see that you realize that the 10K and the half are both full. Good luck finding an alternative. The previous poster suggested the W.I.S.H. forum and that will be your best bet for that kind of help.
