I'd love to see what everyone has planned for their running attire during marathon weekend. I'm still working on my 5k and full outfits, but I'll start the thread off with my WISH tinkerbell inspired outfit for the 1/2!

I think your outfit is adorable -- I especially like how you blended it with the WISH theme! :goodvibes

Cute idea. I will be in WISH Team shirt with a running skirt. That's aboutl all I need. See how I am thinking we will have good weather here.

bump! Does anyone else have outfits to share? I had lots of crafty ideas in my head for the 5k and the full, but I failed miserably at executing those ideas :rotfl2: I'm just going to stick with character themed outfits (ie: wear the same colors those characters wear.)

I'd love to see what those craftier than myself have planned!

I've got a fairly rudimentary Mrs. Incredible outfit in mind for the half. I'll post pictures once I get my ironing-on taken care of (I need DH to print it because his office printer is way better than the one we have at home).

That Tink outfit is super cute!:thumbsup2

I have a Minnie Mouse outfit I wore at the DL half in 2010...but I don't know if I want to dress up this year. Doing Goofy takes enough mental toughness.
But I could break out the tiara ponytail holder and some pink for part of it.

Need to see what the weather is going to do...

For the 5K we will be dressed in a Mexican theme. It will be me, DH, and DD8, I got striped blankets to make serapes for us and DH will have a sombrero.

Closest DH and I will get to costumes is Chip and Dale hats for the relay.

I'll post a pick if I manage to get my costume together like I want. Inspiration currently is Daisy Duck (running the Donald lol).

I thought about checking the Creative Disigns board and making shirts for DH and myself but I wasn't sure you could iron on to a tech shirt? Has anyone done that?

We have done it...just be careful and go slowly. I think that my kids are going to try it again. I'll drop by again if they follow through and let you know how it goes
* pretty sure we used the for stretch fabric transfer paper.

Thanks! Let me know how it works!

Since no one else has pictures to post, I'll post my final 2 outfits. I haven't decided when I'm going to wear each outfit yet, but I think these are the 3 winners...
I decided to nix the snow white themed costume because all my crafty ideas were failing to work when I tried them. I decided that I would do an outfit to celebrate my graduation this weekend, so I picked up a tech shirt for my college when I was buying my cap and gown today. Luckily my school colors are black and gold, so the yellow sparkle skirt I bought to go with my snow white outfit wasn't a waste! I also ordered a back bib in my school colors with my name and 'just graduated' printed on it. I'll probably wear it for all 3 races if it seems durable enough.

I really wish there was a way to wear my cap from graduation for the race because I decked it out disney style for the occasion!

Since it hardly stays on my head while I walk, I doubt it would last on my head long while running... I'm thinking about checking out one of the mickey ear graduation hat styles to see if they would work to run in.

My other outfit is goofy themed!

I just cut the sleeves off of an old sweater that has a hole in it to make my vest. I wish it was black like goofy's. I'm wondering if people will 'get' my outfit. I'm considering finding a goofy hat to wear, but I really hate the thought of buying 2 hats for simply running in...

Cute outfits!!!
I don't have pictures of my outfit yet (my husband is wrapping it and putting it under the tree so I'm not supposed to know what it looks like, except that I picked it out and ordered it).
I'm wearing a black tech shirt with a sneaker on a cushion like a glass slipper. I have a hot pink sparkle skirt similar to the green and yellow ones that were posted. I'll either wearing long black running tights or black running shorts underneath, depending on temperatures. I also have a pair of black arm warmers that I may wear for the start.
I also bought a very sexy set of Hanes sweats to wear over before the start, in case it's chilly. I'm starting towards the back and I get cold very quickly. I'm planning to throw them away before I actually start.
