Thanks garneska. I asked someone on the bus back to the Fort when it stopped raining because i couldn't remember. They said at some point you are just as wet inside as you are outside and you don't even notice. That was the case with me. All I know is that I had a smile from ear to ear when I crossed the finish line.

A smile from ear to ear after voluntarily handing over your hard earned money just to be corralled like in a herd of cattle, all before the sun comes up, leading to pounding the pavement while Florida liquid sunshine, at least it wasn't snow, pours down from above, and crossing the finish line feeling like or like, just begs for a return next year. A job well done for sure.
