Marathon Weekend 2027

Just got DH and I bibs for the 10k and half marathon through Team Determination. This will be our 4th time running with them for runDisney. I am 2x cancer survivor so this is a cause that is near and dear to us.

Unfortunately, I am worried about POT. I have a fall half we signed up for, but I am not sure if that is too late for POT. Just have to hope for a good time at the springtime surprise 10 miler.

@The Expert confirmed that the cutoff for POT is Aug 3rd, so a fall race is too late

My guess would be Let it Go. Not sure if it's won, but being Idina Menzel singing I would guess it has. It's pretty old though so maybe there's a more recent one.

Thanks, I saw this as well. Realized that I have a pretty good time from a half last year. I may do a local 10 miler just to see what time I can get so I can have fun at the springtime surprise.

I am actually digging some of the merch. I will definitely pre-order the Dopey pull over if it is still available when charity bib registration happens. I also like the Donald jacket and also the jersey. I am just a sucker.

Now....are we thinking some yellow and blue Brooks for that weekend?

Anyone else feel like the wording on a few of the items is a bit cringe? “It’s a quack up”?? What’s that even mean?!

I like the graphics for the weekend… but not the biggest Donald fan. Planning on doing Dopey round 2. I’m not dying for any of the pre-order merch, but perhaps may grab the dopey quarter up to be able to use the secret day 1 merch expo trick.

I was going to get my Dopey registration handled on my lunch break, but I forgot that I need the security code off my gift card, and I didn't bring it with me to work (I have the card number in a note on my phone for using with MDE for mobile orders and such), so I'll have to wait until I get home tonight. I'm digging the style of the merch, but I don't know if I'll buy any of it-- I only need so many sweatshirts/spirit jerseys, and my CrD membership keeps me well-supplied with jackets.

And then there's Surface Pressure and We Don't Talk About Bruno from Encanto... not to mention You're Welcome and Shiny and Moana... and the Oscar-winning Under the Sea.

I think Shiny would be a villain song, so it's got no chance of winning, not with the competition in that category
